If they shut down the internet RIGHT NOW permanently, please imagine that this REALLY happened RIGHT NOW, THIS SECOND, what would you THINK as regards to this forum and the information that you have gained from it and what you would do next.

Hi Steevo,
Good question...
Well, the Internet, in it's current state, cannot be "shutdown"...not unless, the Earth is blown into thin air or the "Internet backbone", of which every country across the World is a part of, agrees to simultaneously shut their cluster down...then, it can be done...
However, to answer your question...I'd be very p!ssed off, thats of sure!!
Personally, I'd just continue experiencing my Truth journey, in the manner it was destined to be...if I was fortunate enough to get some contact details from people frequenting these forums, I'd certainly make a point of continuing the communications...but then again, judging by the responses towards my comments/posts, I doubt anyone would be interested being in contact with me...:D
Well, thats my 2 pennies...
Cheers!!

Keep getting the message out by word of mouth, dvds & flyers. CBs and shortwave radio is another usfull method.
If they managed to do it.....it wouild probably do us all a favour as we would go out and do something about it instead of talking about it!
I dont see David Icke posting here...
it wouild probably do us all a favour
Yeah that is my view on it too. Generally the collapse of the internet wouldn't make my world fall apart, because I lived 20 something years without it perfectly well and can do so again. But on the 'action' side of things I think you are right. People would be more likely to get up and 'do' something about things going on in their 'immediate' area, because there is so much going on in the world that we get to hear of here on the net that it can be too much to take in and know where to start. But even better, if TV was suddenly knocked out then I reckon our nations would soon see waves of people getting up protesting about issues that are ordinarily numbed by entertainment. Keep a man entertained and he won't revolt. Once that entertainment is taken away, he becomes constantly aware of bad situations in his life and will rise up. While sedated with the TV, he'll forget his situation and will then have 8 hours (if he is lucky) sleep a night and "Ah, it ain't so bad" the next morning. It goes on and on in this manner each year.

There would be absolute chaos. Economies would shut down, businesses close...It would depend a lot on what the MSM are saying about it but I'd expect there to be a civil war very quickly in America. They could get away with so much without the internet...The MSM are completely owned.
I would probably be listening to a lot of radio and try to pick up pirate frequencies, I'd be glued to the news and get my shit together.

I will be so angry, if they shut it down!
I doubt that they are going to it shut the Internet down, now why would they?
Even the Truth is exposed, not everyone is going to believe it or get it. Plus, corporate companies will lose money, everything will go into bankrupt. Almost all the masses will extremely mad and crazy without no Internet. The Illuminati need for communication or other such things that they do. The need it for the New World Order as well for enslavement on the Internet like those, those MMORPGs!!! *gasp* Or you buy a account with currency and a piece of software that you cannot feel or hold in your hands. Expect it belongs to the computer. Chris is right about the chaos that is going to happen here on Earth. There will be no pdf files, Truth seeking, favorite websites, YouTube, DavidIcke.com, Fucking MySpace, Fucking Facebook, Deviantart.com, Furry Fandom (My special bond), Animals, Videos, Games, Online ordering, shopping, etc, etc. The list goes on and on.
This Earth needs the Internet, ETs hardly use this thing, the majority is obviously humans. Even animals use Internet TOO!! :D

Ok they can't just shut the internet down, but they can turn our access to it off quite easily. We all use "providers", they will easily be persuaded to stop "providing" to certain folk. How about something as simple as electricity?
Without that ,for the servers or computers, the internet won't work.
This rush to digital scares me.

While I realise it was a hypothetical question, they don't really need to shut the internet down to piss some people off. But as we've seen in recent weeks, internet censorship is on the rise even in the UK. If, for some reason, any place like this, prisonplanet, or 911forum were censored (bearing in mind, my local library blocked both alex jones' site and the 911forum) - then things could start getting iffy.

Hi Jhado,
Well, it depends what you mean by "turning our access off"...?
Providers are merely "gateway/route providers"...and of-course, some of them do actually form an intagral part of the Internet backbone...however, unless its a case, your personal website is actually hosted by them, then yes, they can control your access to the internet and your website... In both cases though, they will have to have very good reason to break a legal contract, stopping your internet access and "blocking" all access to your website...
Otherwise, even if it's a case where, say, all the systems of the largest internet provider in the UK is intentionally shutdown...all Internet traffic will simply be "re-routed..."
Chris, in his earlier comment was right though...for the World's economies, shutting the Internet down is simply unthinkable...stockmarket investors throughout around the World, would all instantly become (very p!ssed-off) conspiracy theorists... :D
With electricity, it's very much the same, I would think...unless of-course a country is not able to generate enough electricity to service it's consumer and industrial needs, I can't see the reason why any country would intentionally cripple it's entire infrastructure, simply to restrict the Internet...know what I mean?
As for, the "rush to the digital age"...yeah, I agree!! Hopefully one-day, we will learn how to utilise digital technology for positive reasons rather than to manipulate the masses... ;)
Well, that what I think anyway...
Cheers!

What if the cables under the sea are accidently cut through? This has happened to other countries.
Once we are all totally digital, our books, money, records.....our whole civilisation digitalised, all it will take is one em pulse and it's all gone.

Hi Jhado,
Yeah, I know what you mean...perhaps, if we all invest in a powerful magnet, we might slow it's progress...:D
Thats a joke, ok! I will play no part in any vandalism!! :D:D

Thanks for that Dondaz, I will have to get a SW radio. Anyone any advice on what band range is needed ?
If the video in the link below is telling the truth, then the internet is gonna be gone VERY VERY soon (the video doesnt actually mention the internet but mentions other stuff) :-

I would think, "well, at least I got it out there, as much as I wanted to tell".
Then I would be bored and lonely for a while, without my computer to hook up to good info and people to communicate with.

THE INTERNET CAN BE SHUT DOWN !
it would obviously be the worst case scenario , but make no mistake , if the miliray wanted to shut down al satalites
they can !
however this would also leave them in a dilema , so instead of totally waisting my time argueing against others about what they can and cant do ,
i will relate the issue of all satalites going down and all communications in regards of a massive solar flare .
shit my self !:D
because if that does happen , expect a war
terrorists acts
mass looting
martial law
and me in the shit house !

Back in the 80s I had a 10 band radio and with a little tweaking I could pick up the emergency services` frequencies. Two of my uncles always wanted me to bring it with me when I visited them so they could listen in on police conversations and call them a load of... use your imagination :D
I`ve managed fine even without a computer let alone the internet and I suppose I`d do so again, least I`d save £19.99 a month

Have you asked them about WHY this has been done or registered a complaint?
Seems outrageous to me ('this isn't China', 'thought this was a free country' or even 'if there's nothing to hide, then why is it blocked?' blahblah etc...'this isn't porn we're talking about' FFS)

Check this out - Gunman kills 10 in Finnish school shooting
TRAGIC DAY
The Internet link revived memories of last year's deadly attack at Jokela high school, where student Pekka-Eric Auvinen killed six fellow students, the school nurse and the principal after broadcasting his intent in a YouTube video.

Well, the next thing i would think is that they are coming for me. I don't think you guys realise that you are being profiled as you add content on this website. Your profile is stored in a huge database along with your IP and other ISP details.
Each and every one of us is kept on record. We are all being psychologically profiled and assessed against numerous criteria.
ie... is this guy a paranoid schzo, is this guy a dis-info agent, is this guys a junkie etc etc
So when they shutdown the Internet it means that they have finished the indentification process and all records of deviants can then be acted upon.
So if the Internet goes off.. Expect a knock at the door.

Well, shutting down (parts of) /filtering the web could surely be possible with the upcoming ipv6 tcp/ip protocol (when ip 4 adresses run out, that's the excuse), just a tip mac adress is woven into the ipv6 adress (unique hardware number) so they could trace you on base of where you bought the equipment, where you probably gave your detais (name adress etc) for the waranty...
from wikipedia: (MAC address) or Ethernet Hardware Address (EHA), hardware address, adapter address or physical address is a quasi-unique identifier assigned to most network adapters or network interface cards (NICs) by the manufacturer for identification hmmmmmm kay
In ipv6 they can give priority to certain ip's, data (like streaming, secure websites, "preferable" websites etc) so that's extra control of power over the web.
from wikipedia: Router handling for delivery prioritization
The IPv6 packet header contains a new "Flow Label" field for prioritizing packet delivery by routers. The Flow Label replaces the "Service Type" field in IPv4. The specific properties and utility of this header field are not well defined at present. hmmmmm kay
In short, this is only a protocol, why don't we set up an old scool irc (live chat) channel, or a secure ftp server to hold the most important knowledge/documents/video's...
Another thing :Conventional wisdom says the world will use up all the available IPv4 addresses by 2011 or 2012. (my oh my the coincidence...)
