i was watching BBC1 tonight and was horrified to watch how we have gentically modifed our pet dogs

then i was even more horrified to hear the Kennel Club was strongly related to group that practiced selective breeding in humans

Yes I have seen that too ! But all so had a King Charles spaniel It had hart murmur and bad knee joint Wish I know before I got the lovely dog had to have it put to sleep at just under 7 years old. Then got a springer spaniel too that a bad skin condition from day one to 5 years and we had to give him up.I was very un aware of this other wise would not of got them It well shocked me that the kennel club knows all that. Was going to get a cocker spaniel but now thinking off the idea
