Why do i cry
do i cry for my demise
do i cry for humanity
do i cry for myself
do i cry for my soul
do i cry for my mortality
do i cry for my family
Are tears selfish?
Are tears self-pity?
Do tears put you in touch with an higher order
Why do we cry?
Anybody care to enlighten.
Also, why are emotions felt in the solar plexus?
why not the brain, surely the brain is first contact
why does it seem to say "f**k it i aint getting involved"
Jesus,i cant believe im sharing my inner most thought with this forum.......i might regret in the morning.:D

you cry because you have compassion. feeling for others and wanting to help them is not a bad state to be in.

It's you connecting with your higher self and feeling through your Solarplexis Chakra, the pain that we are collectively feeling...and in some cases, fear.
Good for you ;)

because i want to. it is liberating.
when you cry, or laugh, the whole you does and the whole universe does with you. everything looks like crying or laughing. not only your eyes cry, but your whole body and being altogether. it is called pure experience of emotion, no thought involved on how to do it, you have your own unique way, signature, wave on how to laugh or cry, this is the real you when you don't resist it.
remember how you cried or laughed when you were a baby, when you were not afraid to express yourself in wholeness.

I don't know the deeper reason for crying. I haven't been able to cry for a while since my emotions have been hard as rock. When they soften up I may be able to cry and then I can investigate the reason some more in a direct manner.
The basis for emotions in the solar plexus I think has to do with the flowing of blood to and from the viscera.
There can also be strong emotional feelings in the chest/heart area. This I believe is caused by the heart's relation to and communication with the brain.
And, there can also be emotions in the muscles throughout the body. These are not so obvious at first, but there seems to be tremendously strong emotional content within muscles and fascia.

I think you missed my point. It's not necessarily YOUR fear. You're tapping into the collective fear coming mostly from the sleeping herd. ;)

I may not be right here but I think the brain is the last place you feel the emotions. Your chakras are the doorways to the quantum world, everything originates from there. Anyone care to expand on this?

Hey, if you really wanna regret something join in the photo thread. Plenty of opportrunities there... chuckle... There's no regrets brother/sister everything just is at this moment. The past is gone, the future is not here, right now you are free of both. This moment is all that there is.

Well, I know wherefeel it when sexually aroused, I also feel it in my heart when holding a wee baby, and something that I abhor is felt in my stomach (as in I want to be sick), so yes, the Chakras are the first entry of emotions.
Not sure why people question crying, it's natural, like laughing for instance. Laughing doesn't get questioned. Like I have said before, we have our opposite sides , they need to be acknowledged.
Good to see someone ( male? ) questioning the emotions.
Have a great Monday.

you're spot on. the solar plexus is part of the heart's intelligence. there are groups of nuerons that work collectively to communicate emotional intelligence to the brain.
there's several different things going on in the gut...
most times, feelings arise spontaneously, then we label them. different chakras process different types of emotional energy. the solar plexis is manipura:
Manipura chakra literally means 'The City of Jewels'. It's development is very important for success "in prana vidya", as it is the center or storehouse of prana, and is associated with the color yellow, and the element of fire.
The symbol is a triangle that is pointing down, with swastika marks on the three sides. This is the fire wheel. This chakra is associated with the sun, and the ego. It's also the center of digestion, which the Chinese call the triple warmer because heat is generated in the process of digestion. On the outside are ten lotus petals.
As the sun radiates light, and energy, so manipura uses, and distributes pranic energy through-out the body, regulating, and fueling life's processes. Thus, it is often compared with the dazzling orb of the sun, without which there would be no life.
This chakra vitalizes the sympathetic nervous system, digestive processes, metabolism, and emotions. The base color of the solar plexus chakra is yellow, which is the 'color of happiness'.
The solar plexus is our "flight or fight" center, and where we get our gut feelings. This third chakra is the center of personal power. When the third chakra is open, you have found your own unique gift. The work that gives you pleasure, and that makes you feel fulfilled.
In the martial arts, the third chakra is considered the center of the chi, the life force energy. So this chakra relates to physical abilities, and athletic prowess. This chakra is ruled by the conscious mind, and is active only while awake. It relates to digestion so a balance of energy here causes good digestion. The solar plexus is known as the "Center of the Breath."
Of the three gunas, or qualities of nature, manipura is predominantly influenced by rajas, or activity, dynamism, strength, and will. Whereas, mooladhara, and swadhisthana are predominantly influenced by tamas, or lethargy, dullness, and ignorance. The element of manipura is fire, and its pranic force is samana which digests, and absorbs nutrients from food.

much emotional charge comes from unprocessed cellular memory. the body is crystalline in structure, as is the dna, and carries a record of everything we have experienced from the time of conception forward (some claim before, as the dna is also designed like a radio transmitter and info is beamed in all the time from the collective unconscious).
unprocessed emotional energy tends to get stuck in the major organs, most of which lay in the abdominal cavity:
heart/small intestine- panic
pancreas/stomach- worry
lungs/large colon- sadness
kidneys/bladder- fear
liver/gall bladder- anger
these are also the home of postive emotions: joy, equanimity, courage, peace, and kindness, respectively.

You cry because so many things happened which you believe shouldnt have, you cry because nothing makes sense, you cry because you have been living a lie, which isnt your fault. You cry because your a good person, you cry because you want things to make you smile when they dont, but soon enough, youl be tougher and crying will be lying to yourself.
Sometimes I nearly cry, thinking about what could have and should have been, but its natural when comparing it to what should have been, but whos to say thats how it should have been, considering most our views are uncertain.
Keep your chin up, and if somethings upsetting you which you cant get rid of, find a way.
Or eventually ul build up some sort of resistance, but some situations you gota just f off n get on with what you dont know ul be doing.
Remember. Its only the beginning

Dude...no regrets mate..It's your experience..live it
Forgive yourself, say it out loud and mean it with all the sincerity you can muster...."I forgive myself"...think of anything that you not happy with, something you might have said, done, things that could have or should have happened differenty but didn't, for whatever reason. Forgive yourself for any guilt, fear, sorrow, pain, sadness or loss you may have or may have caused..."I forgive myself".
As Hologram rightly said the past is just that, we only have the now, this moment, so claim you inner freedom, forgive yourself.
I Forgive Myself. :)
