Itd be interesting to know what SINGLE piece of music
touches your soul,you know that feeling that must be unique only to yourself
My personal piece is brian eno's An ascending(ascent),i dont know why but this track penetrates like no other,it is melancholy yes but it really gets to me,almost sends me to a different world.Beautiful.
It would be interesting to know what is your piece of music that sends you elsewhere.
Also,Annie lennox's INTO THE WEST at the end of lord of the rings is stunnningly beautiful,one of the best songs ever created........i want to cry.

silent night the hymn lots of amazing versions out there tom waites does a good one , i like it because it reminds me of being a child around christmas and i woke up when everyone was sleeping and just sat looking out of the window as snow fell it was so magical and peaceful i must of heard the song that day to associate it with the scene , but it still has that haunting feel when i here it now and a touch of sadness too the stillnessand the emptyness of the scene .:D
