The Portugal News has been informed by Turkish journalist Cengiz Candar that this years annual Bilderberg meeting is scheduled to take place in Istanbul from May 31st to June 3rd.

The venue and dates of the conference attended by the worlds leading industrialists, bankers, politicians and newspaper magnates is always a closely guarded secret as are the identities of the attendees.
The Portugal News will attempt to keep its readers fully updated on the agenda of this years meeting (as it has done since the 1999 Sintra gathering) and the secret machinations put in place by the worlds ruling elite who in previous years are alleged to have mapped out economic upturns and downturns, discussed in detail future regional conflicts and forecast political shifts in society.
Bill Clinton, Tony Blair and Portugals Jos Scrates, Pedro Santana Lopes and Antnio Guterres all attended Bilderberg conferences the year before they were elected to power.

hey tinmenace,

could we have our next forum experiment: helping to disrupt the next bilderburger meeting? ;)

I wonder if we should be doing two at one time? I'll ask around at the Rosie thread and see how everyone feels about it there....

Thanks for the suggestion. Did you have anything in mind as far as 'disruption' goes?

Two others names on the original January 2007 list should raise a few eyebrows. One of them is Bernard Kouchner, the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs in the right wing Nicolas Sarkozy government in France. Kouchner is a former founder of ONG Doctors without Borders. He was absent from Bilderberg 2006 in Ottawa, Canada. Could his government position been arranged prior to the French national elections? For my money, the surprise appearance of year award should go to Mahmood Sariolghalam, Associate Professor of International Relations, School of Economic and Political Sciences, National University of Iran. What is an Iranian doing at a NATO alliance controlled Bilderberg conference? We will know soon enough. Bilderberg 2007 is indeed a good time to look behind the scenes.

Endgame 1.5 (PrisonPlanet subscription needed to view unless its up elsewhere) covers that meeting in some detail. Well worth a look. FYI... A years suscription is well cheap just now, what with the exchange rate and 5 months free.
