A SCHOOL FOR FAT CHILDREN
http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/55348/A-school-for-fat-children
A boarding school is to be opened for overweight children.
And among the lessons will be how to order a restaurant meal.
http://images.dailyexpress.co.uk/img/dynamic/1/285x214/55348_1.jpg
The school is aimed at children as young as 11 who are at least 20lb too heavy, and have struggled with their weight for at least a year.
US-based Wellspring Academ ies hopes to open the school, the first of its kind in Britain, within three years. The firm already runs camps for overweight people at the University of Cumbria campus in Penrith.
Wellspring president Ryan Craig said: We engage students and drive home the learning with real-world experiences. Students receive training in ordering in restaurants, and then we go out for lunch or dinner.
As well as the national curriculum, pupils will be taught food science and weight management

I think that the "powers that be" are trying to bring in laws that make our children the property of the state. If a kid becomes "fat", they will suggest that he goes to "fat camp". If the parents of one family disagrees and refuses to send their kid, then the sheeple will say they are neglecting their kid. "Neglect" laws will also start to cover fat kids and the kid will be taken from the parents and IN THE END they will say it's for the good of ALL KIDS that the STATE makes the final decision for ALL OUR KIDS. I mean they have been mentally preparing us for this by first saying fat pets are neglected and could be taken away, and that owners of fat pets will be prosecuted and banned from owning them. And there have been TONS of stories in the papers over the last year or more about parents neglecting their kids.
They dont want us teaching the kids at home, they dont want them to be breast fed, they want our kids microchipped, vaccinated. They dont want our kids to have emotions.
Thanks for posting killmicrosoft.

Yes great post and good replies, i used to think that one day this big brother state would go one step too far and the people would rebel, not anymore though, the people have been policing eachother towards fascism for a long time now.

My thoughts exactly Steevo.
Its a shame to see so many obese children, and obesity rates are definitely climbing as we speak, but its PARENTS who need teaching how to properly nourish their children.....and maybe if so many parents didn't have to work two jobs just to keep the wolves from the door, then kids might have a parent at home making them some decent tucker rather than ordering junk food for the evening meal, or throw something carbo laden together from a packet.
As usual, the problem is being handled from the wrong end, and as you say, its one more move towards the state having total control over all citizens from birth till death.

Exactly... and now the public are reacting to the 'problem'... and coming out with all kinds of 'solutions'.
Beam me up! ;)
There wasn't a 'problem' before the controlled media told us that there was one!
Adults are next... it'll be bi-monthly 'weigh-ins' at the local Community Centre!

Just when you think they couldn't possibly come up with any more terrible ideas .. hey presto
Well maybe if kids didn't eat so much shit food in the form of takeaway fastfood burgers or the ready made meals that fill supermarket shelves.
Has anyone noticed how fat most of our MPs are? Maybe some of them should lead by example and go to fat camp!

I know what you mean resistance BUT on a positive note, the "powers that be" are panicking and are moving much TOO FAST. For example, they are doing too many scare stories now in the media that it may actually be having the opposite effect, they need us to fight EACH OTHER (through divide and rule) , but nowadays BECAUSE OF THE SCARE STORIES maybe people are fed up of it and just want a quiet life (apathy is a bad thing I know, but it also makes people too apathetic to fight each other). Yes the populations are brainwashed BUT it's becoming very obvious to alot of people and WE have to make sure that we pass on the info to EVERYONE so that we can be one step ahead of the agenda.

Hi LL. Yeah the clues are incredibly easy to find that show that there is a hidden agenda. If they TRULY wanted to solve a problem (if, in fact, there REALLY is a problem:cool:) then they would be looking at the cause. They only address the symptoms. And as it happens, THEY caused the problem in the first place. They (the powers that be) ARE the cause.

I just thought up an analogy which sort of describes how the "powers that be" deal with problems (which they usually cause btw) :-
Imagine there is a train that keeps coming off the track due to the TRACK being damaged. Instead of focusing on the CAUSE of the de-railment (ie the damaged track), they decide that there must be something wrong with the train instead, and they keep spending more and more money on fixing/altering the train. And maybe, in the end, they decide that the train should be destroyed.

This is a GREAT analogy steevo....it can be applied to many circumstances we discuss on this forum.
Instead of fixing the tracks, they are tampered with further all the way along the main routes, which in turn causes further derailment to the train, and more damage to the train which they then attempt to repair again and again.
Its all so senseless.....yet the derailing of humanity is quite deliberate it would seem.

Thanks for adding that extra bit to it LL cos it's sort of made it more clearer to me now.
ANYWAY, sometime in the not so distant future, we are gonna take those tracks and shove them right up their f*ckin' ARSES :D Pardon my french :o lol :)

I hate to sidestep this thread, but my mind does wander a little. My eldest daughter, like me loves animals. We have always had family pets. Dogs, cats, fish, mice, lizards etc. You name it, we had it. My daughters partner hates dogs and cats, but will allow her to have rabbits. She now has 2 of them which are called Harry and Flapjack. Now, Harry and Flapjack are vegetarians (herbivours) is the scientific name. They are so fat it's unbelievable, they eat vegetables. Are we being lied to about diet and nutrition? If these 2 rabbits can gain so much weight on vegetables, why would we even consider such a diet?

It's ok. I think it's funny too.
When the bell rings to go to class they'll all start salivating.

I've had pet rabbits also pri01, and I think the weight gain is due more to the fact that pet rabbits tend to be quite inactive compared to rabbits in the wild, who run round a lot more (quite stressy little things) avoiding predators and looking for food, which would naturally burn off calories rather than storing them.
My bunnies were a bit chubby too....and because they were pets, we tended to spoil them somewhat by providing them with more food than they really needed being that they were relatively inactive (as far as the bunny world is concerned) domestic pets. They suffered very little stress because we provided safety for them, so they were relaxed, happy bunnies. .....and we all know that stress sheds weight in humans ...unless of course one is a "stress eater"...in which case weight can be gained simply from the share volume of food a stress eater can mung their way through in a day.

Of course, this is private enterprise. This company, Wellspring, has several private schools in the U.S. in California, the Carolinas, etc. It has nothing to do with the gov't, per se, although it is an accredited school teaching "normal" academic courses as well as behavioral therapy, cognitive reconditioning, etc., etc.
I'm sure if they could worm their way into the public schools (not as a SERVICE, of course, but for big buck$) they would.

yes so we should follow the kids around making sure they never make a 'wrong' choice...
i think society as a whole needs to take responsibility not just the parents.

Agree.
The advertisement is the problem. The parents lack responsibility is also the problem. Society is the problem.
Most kids arn't aware that it's bad for them.

Can't children just be children?
Leave them alone, they'll burn off excess calories by being active! :-/
