...But in 2008, there's still no birth control for men. What happened? In a word: money. With the cost of new-drug development hovering in the hundreds of millions of dollars, the pharmaceutical industry decided there wasn't enough of a market to make male hormonal contraceptives worthwhile.

How will it work? Will men also have hormonal fluctuations and mood swings?

I'm not sure, but I have a couple of friends whose lives would have turned out differently if they'd had contraceptive control :D
Neither of them wanted children early...but oopsie.... their long-term, yet insecure, girlfriends thought it was a sure way to keep them around :rolleyes:
I think it would give men more control over those kinds of issues.
Ironic that Viagra is very popular. I'm not sure what the message in all this is... :confused:
