OK so I don't know if I take this theory seriously myself but I just want to tell you my experience of SatNav.
I drive every day and do about 20,000 miles a year and up until last year I had never used a SatNav. So I finally decided to buy one as some of the places that I go don't appear on normal maps.
After about a week of using it I noticed that I'd stopped thinking for myself when driving, all I was doing was sitting there waiting for the nice lady to tell me to "Turn left, turn right" that sort of thing. This went on for a few months until one day my van was broken into and it got stolen.
So after I had the standard visit by the police asking me if I was OK or if I needed trauma counselling  I went back to using maps and asking at post offices.
Well the upside of this was that since I started again with maps I find myself thinking again and using my own mind to make decisions.
Knowing the NWOs love of making the slaves buy their own shackles I just thought I'd ask if anyone else has felt like this when using SatNav.:D

A valid theory.
I refuse to have one. As long as I can read a map, I will, thank you very much. As for going somewhere that a map does not cover in detail, there is always 'wheris'.
I have noticed over the years how everything that is designed to 'make life easier' is another step in taking away our ability to think and to use our memory or reasoning abilities.

you don't need a sat nav to be watched.... the satellite's are up there watching anyway... thats how the sat navs work.

They're putting them in to mobile phones now too, so beware of strangers walking in to your lounge at home looking for the pub..:D

That is not my objection. We are already tracked by phones, credit cards, medical/dental records, passports, cameras, licence plates and God knows how many other devices.
My objection is the ability to think for ourselves is being eroded all the time, with every new invention and gadget. They are turning us into zombies.

Also once everybody has one of these units in their cars(it will soon be standard in new cars) they will be able to tax us for every kilometer we drive, pay as you drive insurance also.

Norwich Union is using GPS satellite-based navigation technology to track cars as part of a new pay-as-you-drive insurance scheme which could lower premiums for many drivers.
These insurance companies are so considerate looking after our best interests aren't they? No mention of the huge hikes in premiums for most drivers who have to face peak hour traffic everyday or other heavy vehicle users..
