Every time I see these images I am left with an overwhelming feeling of hopelessness and helplessness.

How the fuck are we allowing this to happen?

What sort of creatures wage war on children?

There has to be a way of stopping this carnage. We need leaders to stand up and fight this corruption and disregard for human life.

They are NOT collateral damage ffs. These are people, children, living, breathing, feeling, loving human beings whose lives are being snuffed out by the cold, greedy inhuman arseholes that are dictating the reality of whom ever they choose to achieve whatever their ultimate goal is :mad:

Quite a lot of the images are pretty old now, and some are even from Afghanistan. But that doesn't mean much. Children getting caught up or being dragged 'into' the affairs of adult wars is a horrible situation. What we don't know is the situation behind many of these photos, even though it doesn't change the horror of the final outcome. On a practical note though we don't know how many are victims of U.S strikes in hospitals, and how many were victims of sectarian violence upon people in markets and that kind of thing. Although coalition forces 'started' these conflicts, a horrendous amount of carnage came as a result of sectarian violence in Iraq in particular. Clearly nobody is innocent in all this apart from the children themselves who end up paying the price for the hatreds of the adults above them.

Yes many are old and I have seen much, much worse. That does not alter the fact that these children and the many thousands more maimed and killed, are innocent of any wrongdoing and do not deserve this.

Sad sick part about war innocent folks catch the brunt of it and its a shame that children are put through such a terrible ordeal.
