Pretty!

I remember seeing something similar when I worked in Uxbridge about 10 years ago. I was working a night shift and the night was perfectly still.

The clouds above didn't move for hours as there was no wind.

Pink lightning spread back and fore, to and fro the clouds, silent, never discharging to the ground.

Amazing sight that lasted at least two hours.

I still get chills thinking about it :)

I saw something quite similar to this one night when on holiday in Malaysia. Far out to sea there was a huge tropical storm although it was totally clear where we were. Lightning was going off inside the clouds every few seconds much like the video but it was too far away to hear any thunder. Truely awe-inspiring sight.

The location may explain some of it, but the guy never mentions where the lcation is :confused::)

We got 21.171 lightings here in one day, 29.07.08.
And the year 2003, that summer we had about 70.000 lightnings.
