I went and got a web designing kit but then it suddenly started screwing up my computer and it crashed for the first time in ages, so I had to un-install it.

I'm off to look for another one anyway and get cracking again. Shame, as I had the basic layout set up (well sort of) and then it would've only been a matter to get it hosted, give out the passwords to a few people on here and then adding to it and refining it..

P.s. can anyone find a good host?

The only way we'll sort it out is through a poll like IAAIA says..

If we keep submitting names we like, hopefully someone will kindly get a poll together.

I love the name. For some the type of information we intend to provide on the site will be "hard" to take and it may feel like a bomb has been dropped on them lol :D ....but I feel the name is quite appropriate for the purpose of what we are trying to do....just hard-hitting enough to get attention.

A non-truther won't like our material whatever we decide to call the site, and a novice seeking information will be BOMBarded with all the info they need on this site ;)

What the plan is, is to get the basic frame up with all the links to the different pages working, get it hosted and then dish the passwords out and then hopefully get a few people working on the final design, then once everything is in place we can start up loading everything.

Personally, I'm really not bothered who the web master or the mods are as in peak summer as I'll be working 7 days a week, so I won't be on a great deal..

Maybe we should have a vote on that too :D

go the info-bombs, tis a good name, I think it's good to stay away from names that are new agey sounding, just a preference, not that there is anything wrong with them, they just don't have that punch.

Hey Tommi, did one with MS frontpage, have used dreamweaver on last three, as i've gone along I have learnt to write in HTML, so now do most stuff off the bat, is only a hobby. Anything will work for web design, just needs to have enough functionality to let you get what your want.

I willhelp where I can, just have a couple of pressing projects at mo needing a lot of my time.:) :)

I don't really like the name, I think it sounds negative and aggressive. As someone said it's a bit Alex Jones. But I agree that we shouldn't choose a name which sounds too New Age or wishy washy. It should be a name which people will take seriously, maybe something neutral but positive. For instance if the website adopted a name and look which is neutral and impartial similar to a newspaper (Well, in a ideal world, what they should be!:rolleyes: ) in which a particular view isn't taken one way or the other but the information readily accessible for people to make up their own minds.

From what I've gathered the purpose of the website is to inform as many people as possible by providing a collection of research, articles etc in one easily accessible place. Therefore I think that although it is providing hard-hitting challenging information it should also make people feel inspired and motivated to do something about it rather than feel doomed!

Also some people might be turned off straight away if it feels negative or imposes a view upon them straight away. We need something that will get people interested and want to learn more, which will attract a variety of different people, not just a particular type.

we would have to think how we would edit/verifies maybe censer ourself pretty sure if we just allow anything we would end up in some kind of trouble e.g legal
