My ex works in a Hospital emergency ward, and she has seen people who have self mutilated on more than one occasion. The worse one was a guy who cut out his testicles and left them on the front seat of his car, strolled into emergency, and said that it was gods will. She had to go out to the car to retrieve said testicles. What was bizarre about the whole thing, is that this guys father had done the same thing only weeks earlier.
