I thought that some of the ideas explored in the Animatrix series were way better than the final two movies which, for me, turned into war movies with big guns :(

I agree. I enjoyed the second, but hated the third. But as you say, the Animatrix project was better overall.

Animatrix was excellent where you can find similar anime? I dont like most anime especially the manga type, who animated the animatrix what else have they done?
