Written about a teacher at college who got on my nerves :D You'd have to see him in action to fully understand :p

Like fingernails on a chalkboard
The chord is struck, the voice grating
Playing silly rants over and over
On angry drums inside my head

The lips hurl sharp insults
But all I see is unkept stubble
As the shiny egg blinds the iris of my eyes
I close the lids but cannot find black

The bobble head moves up and down
With no rhythm no rhyme
Its beady eyes shifting left and right
Flicking quick as flies on leftover lunch

Liquid drops fall from the creases
Oozing from porous vaults of flesh
Fabric soaks up the salty rivers
Like a thirsty sponge on water

And as I sit and observe this obscenity
I realize that I have paid to see this
And tomorrow I will scrape together
More pennies to see the show again
