Watch BBC's Gardener's World tomorrow night and see how many times the terms "Climate Change" is interjected into the show. Last two weeks the presenters shivering in their rain coats mentioned it constantly while claiming Mangos will be growing in our gardens soon due to global warming.

It would be comical if it was not so sinister. Same for Countryfile and any BBC nature show.

The BBC are utterly intoxicated with the Al Gore angle on the Agenda. Last year they canceled a massive programming schedule on Climate Change because the ratings were terrible for Live Earth and similar propaganda. So what have they done instead, brought the Global Warming shite into regular programmes. But again, it is such overkill people will see through it.

I am half expecting them to replace the masonic image of the London Dome at the start of Eastenders with a map of the city flooded by rising sea levels. You know, the 55 ft rise which Al Gore told us was coming starting in 2007.

Still waiting...

Anyways, watch GW's tomorrow just to see how much they mention Climate Change. I wish I had of kept a running tab for this season. But I think the average is 6 mentions per programme.

I dont think we need to worry too much; not a great many watch that programme anyway. I LOVE nature & I'm a gardener, but stopped watching GW because it was so bloody boring - can't stand that 'monty' whatsisname anyway.

endlessvista, why do you object to global warming? Do you resist the idea that the sun is getting bigger, and therefore closer to Earth?

Or do you resist the idea that Homo sapiens have had a significant effect on the relative temperature of this biosphere?

BBC ignores global warming research

Tuesday, February 5, 2008, 05:00 AM GMT

More 'we're all going to die' reporting from the BBC on the 10 o'clock news. Climate change will turn nasty suddenly, we will have little warning and then, I am sorry to report, every one of us will indeed drown, starve, fry or freeze.

The corporation is obsessed by this stuff, giving air time to everything which backs the consensus that man made climate change is hurtling us towards disaster. But did the Beeb have room anywhere on it many outlets for the research Christopher Booker highlighted in the Sunday Telegraph at the weekend under the headline: "So it appears the Arctic ice isn't vanishing after all"?

"Last autumn the BBC and others could scarcely contain their excitement in reporting that the Arctic ice was melting so fast there would soon be none left.

Sea ice cover had shrunk to the lowest level ever recorded. But for some reason the warmists are less keen on the latest satellite findings, reported by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) on the website Cryosphere Today by the University of Illinois.

This body is committed to warmist orthodoxy and contributes to the work of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Yet its graph of northern hemisphere sea ice area, which shows the ice shrinking from 13,000 million sq km to just 4 million from the start of 2007 to October, also shows it now almost back to 13 million sq km.

A second graph, "Global Ice Area", shows a similar pattern repeated every year since satellite records began in 1979; while a third, "Southern Hemisphere Ice", shows that sea ice has actually expanded in recent years, well above its 30-year mean."

Booker also unearthed amusing information which puts the famous "stranded polar bears" image so beloved of Al Gore and his followers in a new light.

If the BBC mentioned this material on any of its many outlets, I missed it. If a reader can find an example of the Beeb using the information fairly and prominently then I stand corrected.

further interest of bbc bias...

More BBC Global Warming rubbish (http://notasheepmaybeagoat.blogspot.com/2008/06/more-bbc-global-warmimg-rubbish.html)

bbc uses 10 year old story used as Climate Change propaganda (http://www.wonkosworld.co.uk/wordpress/2008/03/25/10-year-old-story-used-as-climate-change-propaganda/)

...and finally Paxman slams BBC on climate 'hypocrisy' (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-432891/Paxman-slams-BBC-climate-hypocrisy.html)

Global warming IS taking place, but WE ARE NOT THE CAUSE OF IT (yeah -mankind does need to heed this shout)
The sun is going through changes which affect all the planets in our system - they're going through changes as well, but you'll never hear THAT in mainstream, even though astronomers have known this for years. This is empirical proof of this.
No ,WE have to be the 'cause' of this so the PTB, through the utility companies can screw us all for even higher amounts to pay for oil, gas, electricity et al.

I agree both are possible, it is just I disagree with a fraudlent graph Al Gore pulled out of his ass during a Hollywood movie makes the latter real.

There is no panic, except for the tax man who wants to tax natural weather cycles ASAP.

I would also love to know what's inside Al Gore house which has him using 120 times the electric consumption of the average US home (which is huge anyways)... And this is AFTER he converted it to "Green" energy.

Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.

The sun's activity is down on what it was. Sunspots are down to zero. The last time we had high solar activity we had 9-11 and 7-7.

Their Mayan solar maximum apocalypse bullshit is long overdue and not going to happen.

In fact the Earth is getting cooler.

Panic over. YAY!

The reason I disagree with your comment is that I believe the Sun will gradually increase in size until its heat burns the Earth to cosmic dust.

I'm not exactly sure how long away that is. However, I'm sure 2012 is just a tad to soon :)

Beliefs and intentions are the same thing. The power of belief! Are you sure you want that to happen?
