Hi all,
Anybody here been able to astral fly? I would very much like to achieve this, but may have already done it?? In the past I have had the flying dream which has a amazing feeling of freedom:) I remember the feeling of breaking free when I went up into the sky............:)
Any tips would be greatly appreciated on how to achieve this on a regular basis.:)
Thank you brothers & Sisters:)

I had 3 astral journeys last night and today I'm really tired, serves me right for being greedy. lol:D usually i feel really refreshed after 1 or 2.
I think if you can do it you know the feeling and go with it. What i find best is if something suddenly wakes me up. But i was reading another thread about this a few weeks ago about someone setting their alarm clock, which i could imagine would probably work quite well as long as you don't wake up too much. I would set if for around 3 or 4am for best results.

Actually just thought of something that could be the start of astral flying. Sometimes I may nod off at work (lunchtime!) or at home, when I suddenly jolt, like I'm snapping back to this reality, could this be the start of flying, then suddenly coming back??:)

No i would say that's just your muscles relaxing.:p The start of it is when you get a strange feeling like paralasis.

I lucid dream from time to time and it is absolutely amazing. When I do, I wake up feeling on top of the world. I usually just fly around and levitate and stuff like that..:D

What about this, when I'm either sitting or lying down, I close my eyes and can make myself feel like I'm spinning, what's that about?

Dont know what that is hun!!
This is my experience so far , my friend and i have done it a couple of times but we had a very strong connection.... as i drift off to sleep almost inbetween sleep and awake i can somehow enter a sort of inbetween place, i would call it dimension for the purpose of understanding where im coming from, its like i can actually see it, its a sort of wavelength that i access, and i can see between this dimension and the next ( i assume the next is the dream world???) as if you see our world and step through it into another world there's an inbetween bit like a secret dimension inbetween the two, anyway, i go in there and then call out for whoever im astral travelling with ...kinda like a meeting place, ive got in there before and my friend has been waiting for me!! other times i go in there and its completely empty and no-one's there...at this point i just leave and cross over into the dream world!
In the beginning when i first tried this i was just starting to go into this state when i was awoken by a very coherant female voice that almost whispered to me and it said 'Shiloh' ...i have no idea what it meant but i remember it wasnt a voice i recogised and wasn't a dream but i didnt feel scared it woke me but then i fell asleep straight away! i have tried to google this word and investigate it but i have found no relevance to it so maybe it was jsut a random thing but very weird,
i must say that the more you do this astral travel thing the better at you become and you can learn to control it too! i have only done it a few times but what we did was amazing!! its trying to remember it all that i find hard!! trying to differentiate between what is a dream and what is astral travel, but i think i know the difference, but then again....book me in for a bed at the mental institute if you wish....!!! :D

Me too, I can stop myself spinning. This has just reminded me of something Joan Ocean (the dolphin lady) told me about contacting light beings, she said to get into a meditation state, one of the things to do was imagine you are spinning:eek: Well that's half way there!:)

i've also had those flying dreams. they rock. i just want to get lucid..
i'm reading Michelle Belanger's "Psychic Dreamwalking", which is quite cool, also, in it she mentions Southampton Common (where two early experimenters would meet). it's quite a good read.

yea lucid dreams are good like, i had two in too days once, but what happens is i am dreaming and from that state, i think -"i can astral project here" and then it gets lucid like were you are swimming in the air ect, very good. but what happens too me is i realise that im dreaming but im still dreaming if you get what i mean. like if i think "ill go to me body now" it will be in a diffrent room or something.
according to robert bruce - get into a mind awake/ body asleep state, that loosens your etheric body, then once that is loosened and you feel in trance or like you are not in your body, try an obe exit technique were you pretend or try to roll of your bed or were you imagine you are climbing up a rope, and that will set your real time double out. and its done. but so far i havent had that much look with that like.
a decent book.
