hehe kool guys thanks for the link garth :D

i'm only just getting into them really cause of my OH, he's a composer/ musician too, but yeah they rock!

Hey though, coldplay's last album X and Y, there was loads of stuff on there too, chris martin was really trying to wake people up to stuff albeit less upfront than NIN lols...i know he thought that album was crap but hey i loved it.

like this:

Do you ever feel like something is missing, things you never understand, little white shadows blink and glisten, part of a system a plan...

you're part of the human race, part of the stars and the outer space
part of a system plan.

i guess they tried to tell things with all their stuff though, like with Politik...then he had to go and marry a dimwit like gwennie paltrow lol  chris is a bit away with the fairies himself though, i still respect him though lol :D

Totally dig NIN. :)

There are some bands and artists doing their bit to bring the truth to the forefront. Whether everyone looking at it understands the reality of it remains to be seen.

NIN is great. Is there a new album again? I have The Slip, that's the newest one I know of.

That http://www.anotherversionofthetruth.com/ is really interesting. Has it something to do with NIN?

It's pretty obvious TPTB want a staged revolution. Alex Jones and Megadeth come to mind. Oh yah and Ron Paul, why does Alex want him to win the 2012 election when he knows it's rigged?

I've noticed all these bands are "waking up"......Will Smith saying aids is a conspiracy, can't you guys see the bigger picture?

Metallica is still where it's at....some of their lyrics are so deep they resonate with some of the aspects of the MATRIX novels/books.

Is Trent Reznor part of that? NIN is different. At least so far the attitude in declaring freedom from record companies and stuff has seemed genuine.

he is a one man music factory isn't he? it's awesome how he does it all himself, my only issue with NIN is that he has never really changed his style the last album I heard sounded a bit dated.

I think he is a fantastic songwriter though.
I love this remixed NIN track:

NIN are a great band, I loved the last tour I went to in summer. But Trent against the system? Not sure what to think; he seemed intent on declaring his masters when playing Head like a Hole. "Bow down to the one you serve..." then flashing the 666 sign every time he sang this line.

Open your eyes people, please! Have you completely missed the title?

The Beginning of the End - Zero Hope Zero Chance

These people, and bands like this, are putting it right in your faces where they're leading you - straight into a dead end trap.

I've said it over and over again the last 5 years - no one who stands apart from Christ is going to have victory over the devil. I feel even less hope for you all when you not only reject Christ and refuse to repent of your sins, but then you sell yourselves for the sake of a few tunes. It takes nothing to buy you and nothing to manipulate you, but here you sit, day in and day out, talking about how you're going to conquer the ptb; the nwo; and even the devil himself.

Please, please, please wake up! Stop talking about it, stop acting like it's all just a hobby and a game, and WAKE UP!

What I've heard of them I think they are crap. Think it Was Marilyn Manson bag of shite (satanist) who gave him a leg up the ladder, or Trent helped Marilyn's career (I've no time now) but google it and I'm sure you'll find some intersting connections.

Its hard to make a dent in the collective consciousness and have others realise that it is no coincidence that all these groups are suddenly all singing about subjects which I have read up on in depth for the last few years. If you look back to the early mention of the illuminati trying to murder me etc in the lyrics from about 96. You will see that I am just scratching the surface of the subject and dont go into any real depth at all. Very superficial and glancing observational refferences.

Well, I know Trent helped Marilyn's career by taking him under his wing. But Manson is a card-carrying member of the Church of Satan and idolizes Anton LaVey. NIN's music definitely has satanic themes, and I've seen a YouTube video by a satanist who says the same. I can't remember the link....oh, well.

Trent helped MM. He also helped Bowie to find a new fanbase, remixing Bowie's 'I'm Afraid of Americans'.

It's the overall shitty ominous vibe I get from both band's music that puts me off them from the songs I've heard and never considerd it as anything particularly musically advanced or creative. That's just my opinion.

I don't know much about NIN tbh. But Manson the fact that he and his band named themselves after famous serial killers (who where admitted satanists themselves gives me the creeps and speaks volumes imo)

I think Head Like a Hole is supposed to be taken as a satire or something. From that description Trent seems to be telling the audience that they serve Satan, if only they understood.

I don't think he's a "Satanist". I think that's probably the reason for the bad blood between him and Marilyn Manson. Manson sold out, probably willingly became part of the establishment and their schemes. Trent didn't like that.

Not that I have evidence to support that, but I doubt anyone here has evidence to support that Trent is a Satanist, unless by Satanist you mean something like "against the Christian church", which I believe he is.

ya know i always hated NIN until i started dating someone who is obsessed with them... it took about 2 years but i can listen to it now. for some reason i dont get bad vibes, i honestly think he knows the truth.. i mean he is a part of the music industry, so he broke off and did his own thing because he knows what it is.

i also think he is very lonely in his head.. alot of people are. some are just creative with expressing that. it doesnt make them satanists. everyone on the planet has darker emotions.

and dont forget the song REPTILE... ;)
