So earlier today I walk in on my mother and sister having a conversation,as I walked into the room my sister cuts off her conversation to tell she had been watching the BBC's "Conspiracy Files" last night and I was just getting ready to point out all the BS when out of nowhere she says"It was an inside job!",well all I could do at that moment was smile.
My sister would be the type of person that doesn't care much for politics and would read a paper for local news, gossip, crap about soaps etc. and nothing else,so this came completely out of left-field,even she could see through the BS the BBC are trying to feed us as truth.
She mentioned the fact that WTC 7 was omitted from the official report, the inconsistencies in the BBC's explanations over report the collapse of Building 7,23 minutes before it collapsed, the lame arse excuses they came up with for why the tapes "went missing"
She knows my stance on 9/11 but we have never had a conversion about it for the reasons above,my mother also chimed in by saying"Everybody thinks he's mad(me)when he talks about this stuff and they are saying the samething about Jim Corr" :D
The best part of this story is,how did she come to see this piece  ,some might think her older brother was pointing her towards it  someone else told her  or she had read something  or seen another documentary about 9/11
None of the above, the reason my sister seen this was "There was nothing else on T.V!" :D :D :D
This has made my day :D

to be fair i thought it was ALOT better than history channel hitpeice and bbcs first hit peice.
But if you take away 30minutes of propaganda slander and attack on truthers.
Then you get 30 minutes of scientific debate in which its very hard for us to lose oh well
Many things were unanswered like how building 7 28 columns snapped in .1 second of each other thermites iron rich microspheres etc.
All they really had was smoke coming out of building 7 and i cant understand richard gages comment on this saying it was negative pressure from building 5

I said in another thread - the BBC hit piece might have the opposite effect and actually encourage people to have suspicions, start thinking about the issue, and researching it for themselves. Sounds like that's what's happened with your sister.

I cant watch programmes like that or the cack they show on Sky..I become to irate. I did watch the piece a week or so ago when the tptb at BBC wet their knickers telling us how building 7 had fallen by fire..rewriting the laws of physics as it fell.

What the BBC and indeed many people who go out of their way to defend the 'offical version' (sometimes very aggressively) need to ask themselves is that old chestnut that gets wheeled out in defence of ID cards etc, 'If you've got nothing to hide then what are you afraid of?'
Seems to me that if people need to defend the government version so aggressively then they can't be that confident about the story themselves, and they appear to be projecting their own fears and doubts onto others who have asked themselves the obvious questions as to why it doesn't seem right, and in fact is full of holes and impossibilities. They probably have doubts of their own but seem too fearful to air them.
As for attacking the 'sceptics', what are the 'official' defenders trying to do? Save people from themselves or something? Are they worried about the mental health of the sceptics? What difference does it make to them that people are demanding another independent investigation?
If you're so confident of your version of events, what do you care what a load of supposed 'lunatic conspiracy theorists' think?
Covering the phenomenon of the rising tide of conspiracy theorists is one thing, but to impose such a negative bias on the subject when you're funded by public money, is itself very suspect. The con-theorists are not advocating any sort of violence, quite the opposite.

WORD!
I too get really pissed off with these types of shows. I've stopped watching them because I end up arguing with the TV and getting myself in a twist. Sod that for a game of soldiers. I know what I believe and I don't care if the TV agrees with me or not.
As 'they' always say, dishonesty will get found out in the end...

Here in the USA, the kind of people that are finally "getting it" is also eye-opening. I walked by a bunch of retirees (at a church sponsored breakfast...) and several were arguing over whether it was an inside job. I was so excited by what I was hearing that I joined the conversation. Several of them (mostly in their 70s and 80s) were aggressively trying to convince one lone holdout. In recent years I'd have expected one person trying to convince the group, not the other way around.
A great shift in the wind is underway here also... (http://forgingnewparadigms.blogspot.com/)

Personally , I thought the BBC tried to bury the WTC 7 documentary in the schedules.
On ITV 1 there was a new episode of ' Midsomer Murders ' , this was bound to be popular because the lead character's daughter was getting married.
On BBC 1 was a brand new series , ' George Gently ' a police drama set in the 1960s starring Martin Sheen.
With two big drama series scheduled at the same time ( including one being shown on the main BBC channel ) I wonder if the Beeb were kind of hoping that nobody would watch the WTC 7 programme ?

A fanatical or dogmatic response always involves doubt. Nobody gets fanatical about the sun coming up in the morning because it always does.
The thing I objected to most about the programme was Caroline Catz's voiceover I think. It was almost schoolteacher-ish : ' Now then you silly children , your conspiracy theories are ridiculous , why don't you just grow up ? '

Nah that show got aired every night for about a week on BBC 1 and 2... Both me and my younger bro were laughing because they don't normally repeat things as much on BBC 1 and 2 as they do on say BBC 3.... And they definitely don't repeat a new show as much as they did with the WTC7 propaganda crap.
The thing that gets me is the really snidey way the makers of this film went about it... ie showing half of the clip of Silverstein practically admitting that they pulled the building... but they totally left out the " and then we watched the building come down " part of the clip, which to me is the most important part because it actually shows you in what context he was using the words " pull it ".
Very crafty they were, and to a member of the public who is not up to date on things or knows jack shit.... Then this would of seemed pretty unbiased in my opinion. But for me, it was cringe worthy and really strengthened my belief that it was a inside job ( didn't exactly need any strengthening like ).
It's good to hear that the lads sister didn't fall for the BS.
