Hi, my name is Andrew, and ive been checking out the posts on this site for a few weeks or so, and ive watched a load of davids lectures and ones by other people like micheal tsarion and jorden maxwell, etc.

Anyway, in one of davids lectures he mentioned about the body being just a computer etc. And that we arent just out body. I was a little skeptical of this, but the other night, i had an experience that i will never forget.

I was just about to fall asleep and i realised the very truth that eventualy i was going to die. I know that sounds reasonable enough, i knew people die of course, but its something you dont really think about. (bear with me here) And i began to wonder what would happen when i did. Anyway i couldnt think of a logical answer. And eventualy, i whispered "I WANA KNOW THE TRUTH!" and a few seconds after that i started to feel really really scared. Like that something was in my room. And then i felt as tho (hard to explain) i was being pulled out of my body. I sat up really fast (i might have started sleeping at the point, so it might just be a dream i guess, but it seemed so real) and i couldnt stop shaking. In fact it was so bad that i had to call an ambulance out as i started to have trouble breathing and i actualy thought i was going to die.

Anyway since then ive been thinking about what happened and i feel as tho if i wanted too, i could "leave my body" but ive stopped myself just before i did. As im Afraid that might actualy die if i did. I also realised that I'm not just "my body" and that I am something else other than that, and my body is just a computer. Just like david says.

Anyway, i need to know if anyone ese has had a similair experience, or if anyone has heard of anything similiar? Or maybe you can direct me somewhere where i can learn more. Ive heard of OBEs and ive done a little research on them. But its hard to find anybody who has actualy had one.

I'm writing this here as i guess i dont know where else to turn, i cant talk to my friends and family as they would just laugh and say it was a dream and i dont really wana see a doctor, as i doubt they would understand. Ok, first take a deep breath ok. You are right in that we are not of this body. Its a shell or suit we use while here, if you will. Leaving your body will not result in your death. That will only happen when the suit is damaged beyond repair. So dont fear that. No doctor is going to help you and this isnt a medical condition. What you have experienced is called out of bodyor astral travel, look it up on google. It can be a wonderful experience yet frightening if you are unsure of whats going on. I leave my body on occasion have since very young, also other members of my family as well from my grandfather, aunt, brother etc. Its mind orientated in that for example you leave your body you focus on where you want to go and you will zoom there. You can do experiments if you like stay within your bedroom for example and check the clock then return to your body. By the way just the thought of returning to your body and you are there. what you experienced, was probably a nervous breakdown or a panic attack. an intense terror of the fear of death, made your body respond with a lot of stress. it is nothing to worry about, you were not going to die and you are not going to.

here is a simple take. imagine your body as the circumference of a circle. you, are standing in the center of the circle, not knowing whether you are the surface or the center, or none of it. in fact, you are all of it. you are a center whether you have a circumference or not, but right now you have a form, so your center is contained in it. imagine that there are 2 universes present right now in your life. the one that is outside of your body and the one that is inside it. in your body, there is a vast universe as well, with living beings, with law and order and it is you, just you.

Fear is a powerful thing. I've never knowingly left my body, but some say we all do this naturally while we're asleep, travelling to other realms, times and places. David Icke says we created fear when we forgot we were all one, all love. So if you feel fear, that is what you will manifest.

This is not truth, this is fear. We cannot die, we are all one, all part of the divine. We are 'tri-part' beings. Mind, body and soul. What we call our body will one day die, but our mind, spirit or 'etheral' body, and soul will carry on, we simply move to a different reality or vibration level.

I'm just reading 'conversations with god' by neale donald walsch, and I recommend it, there are some brilliant concepts and explanations which may help you overcome your fear.

Thanks alot for replying guys, its good to see I'm not the only one who has experienced something like this. Or at least heard of it.

The fear i got was pretty insane, like i said icouldnt breathe and not being able to explain it probably made it worse. Anyway, thanks alot for your input, really means alot to me. And later I'll have a look around for the book or whatever it is.

I guess it is true about being alone with something causes fear, as now i know that im not entirely alone with this experience, i feel alot more confortable about it.

You could also have suffered something called 'sleep paralysis'.
Your brain automatically disables your muscles so you dont hurt yourself while youre sleeping.
Some people wake up,but are still 'paralyzed'.....which must be terrifying,hence that may have led to a panic attack.
Also,people that claim to have been abducted by aliens experience exactly what you have and the feeling that something is in the room with them.

I get sleep paralysis occasionally, the first time it happened was really scary, I basically thought I was actually paralyzed! All I could move was my mouth and my eyes, so I tried screaming to wake my boyfriend up but no sound came out. Eventually using all my might I managed to force my body to move and came out of it. It really shook me up at the time.

Now when I get it, it's not so scary. However the last time it happened was quite strange, it was in the late morning as I was having a lie in and I had a dream in which I was getting up for the day, but at the time I thought it was real! At some point I woke up but in sleep paralysis, I was a little miffed at the time as I knew I would have to get up all over again, but then whilst paralyzed I could hear things which sounded like someone in my flat. :eek: It was really quite scary as I just felt absolutely useless. It makes you feel like you are trapped inside a hunk of meat. Eventually I fought the paralysis and got up but there was no one in my flat or any explanation for the noise I heard. It's quite freaky, because I don't know if I completely made up the sounds in my head or not, and if not, what was it?! :confused:

it would appear you had what is called a panic attack'.

You get a terrible feeling you're trapped ..and there is no where
you can go. ( you were thinking of death beforehand)

This then affects your breathing.... and then you get a terrrible fear
that you can't breath.

You keep getting the feeling you're trapped .

The problem is not actually with this feeling.. but WITH all
the negative feelings and thoughts that arise when we get
this feeling.

A good idea is to take your mind off these negative thoughts and try to
see your body as it is.

Our body is made up of thousands of cells and there is actually huge
SPACE between each cell -- so your body is quite open and
transparent.

You're actually not trapped in this body.

As you are lying in your room, open to the space (light) all around you
and imagine all this light moving in and out of all the HUGE spaces between
each cell of your body.

Allow yourself to really get this feeling of freedom and fluidity
and the attack will subside.

in fact, a lot of people think that this should not be called a panic attack
but a 'bliss' attack.

Because when you get this feeling in your body... and IF you
can allow yourself to experience this energy WITHOUT attaching
any fear or negative conclusions or beliefs, you'll just experience
it as a surge of energy
through your body.

I have out-of-body experiences too, also astral travelling which is slightly different as you are seeing things on an astral level, I think it's the next one up from the Earth plane. Whereas the obe you see things as they are in everyday life and see yourself in bed. I choose not to look at that bit, but if you don't know it's happening it van freak you out when you suddenly see your body laying there.

Anyway I can Imagine how terrified you were. It used to scare the life out of me too (no pun intended:D ) So I agree with the others that you experienced a panic attack from being so scared. And if it hasn't happened before then it can be very freaky.

You say you stopped when you knew what was happening. I used to make that mistake:D Now I let it happen, you just need to combat that fear.You will NOT die;) What happens to me is, I get a fuzzy tingling in my head and neck then my ears start feeling hot inside and I feel paralized then I hear a noise like an aerosol being sprayed then I go out. I could choose not to go too, but it's much more fun to go:D

You don't have to go far at first, just around the bedroom, then when you get braver you can venture even further. Then when you get braver still you can experience the sensation of passing through objects:D You wont get stuck. lol Once you have mastered those tecniques you will be able to go outside and fly, but thats another thing you will have to learn, as sometimes you can just shoot up really high and fly really fast. It's amazing. But remember, you can always go back to your body at will. fear alone is enough to do that though.

I never want mine to end but they just do, then I have to try and do it again. The feeling is the most amazing feeling ever when you can get past the fear. You can also meet other people on the astral plane and you can also see people who can't see you obviously, but those who can see you are on the same level as you are probably astral travelling too. I want to say something else but i better not;)

Anyway anyone who doesn't do this will probably think im a complete nut job:eek: They often do when i tell them because they can't do it themselves. There are lots of people who would love to be able to astral travel, so you should think yourself really lucky that you ahve the potential to do it.

Anyway, having said all that, you may not even want to do it..:eek: lol No seriously don't be scared of it cos as someone has said, fear creates fear.

I've had sleep paralysis twice in my life where I trully felt I was never going to be able to move again - I couldn't speak or move any part of my body other than my eyes - a very frightening sensation. But I don't think that sleep paralysis is really what you are describing.

The bit that I am interested in though, is this:

Like that something was in my room. And then i felt as tho (hard to explain) i was being pulled out of my body.

This is something I've experienced on a number of occasions - mostly accompanied by a feeling of being charged with a powerful energy - really buzzing with it!!! And not being able to control it.

At first I thought I was being possessed (classic programming here), and I reacted in exactly the same way that you did - breathing went all to hell - thought I was having a heart attack - thought I was going to die! A classic panic attack.

The next time this occured, I was more circumspect - I survived the first one after all - so I relaxed a little and let things go a little.

It went something like this:- energy coursing through me - white noise - head over heels sensation - laughing inside - whooshing - body shaking with energy - fast moving - uncontrollable force - a trully odd ride.

My wife tells me that I appeared to be sleeping soundly during this time.

I've probably had about five or six similar events. Sometimes, I've been unable to wake up from the experience. I'm fully conscious that I'm in semi-dream state (and not paralysed as such), but just unable to return to conventional reality. I found this be quite disturbing at first - until I learned to let it run its course and not to fight it.

Its pretty scary experiencing something so fundamentally alien to the 'norm'. The fact that you were reluctant to discuss this with your family/friends suggests that you still have some clear ideas of what constitutes madness/normality. Me too, until I learned to use these experiences to reflect on such beliefs,

I know now that these events have significantly changed my concept of reality. Maybe this is all that this is - an awakening? Who knows? What I have also discovered is that I now have more awareness of my dreams - and can influence my dreamtime events to a much greater extent. My flying has certainly improved ;-) And I've been meeting some very unusual characters.

However, I still don't know what is trully happening. Perhaps its a way of receiving information? Or it might even be opening up to something malign/benign. As I said - who knows? But I'm no longer fearful of it. Quite the reverse in fact, and I'm looking forward to the next night time adventure.

I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Hi guys, sorry bout the long time to reply, i lost track of the thread.

Anyway, i was skeptical at best about davids lectures before this experience, and learning that literally EVERYTHING in your life is a lie, is a pretty scary thought as first. Ive got used to the idea now.

And it was a panic attack i had, I had a few more of those afterwards too, but ive found a technique that stops them before thay even start, which is pretty cool. If anyone wants to know it, just ask, its kinda long and complicated, but simple at the same time :D

However, i now feel as tho im seperated from reality, I'm not really sure about anything anymore, its kind of a wierd feeling.

Ive also been wondering the answer to a question, and id love it if someone had the answer. how does your "soul" if you will, stay in your body? and where is it? I can feel it, but i cant locate it. I think that knowing the answer to this will help me understand reality alot better, and the truth sets you free and all that :D

I get sleep paralysis occasionally, the first time it happened was really scary, I basically thought I was actually paralyzed! All I could move was my mouth and my eyes, so I tried screaming to wake my boyfriend up but no sound came out. Eventually using all my might I managed to force my body to move and came out of it. It really shook me up at the time.

Now when I get it, it's not so scary. However the last time it happened was quite strange, it was in the late morning as I was having a lie in and I had a dream in which I was getting up for the day, but at the time I thought it was real! At some point I woke up but in sleep paralysis, I was a little miffed at the time as I knew I would have to get up all over again, but then whilst paralyzed I could hear things which sounded like someone in my flat. :eek: It was really quite scary as I just felt absolutely useless. It makes you feel like you are trapped inside a hunk of meat. Eventually I fought the paralysis and got up but there was no one in my flat or any explanation for the noise I heard. It's quite freaky, because I don't know if I completely made up the sounds in my head or not, and if not, what was it?! :confused:

i think what you say there could be associated with obe/ astral projection, sleep paralasis can be the result of you are either going to project or you have projected (left your body) from what iv read. also if thats right what you heard makes sense because some people who astral project/obe hear a type of audio hallucination where just before you are going to project you can here strange sounds like chains moveing, people shouting your name and other bizzare stuff lol, and to me thats what that could of been and it would make sense.

"wanderer" when you say also about your buzzing and stuff that is called the "vibrations" in obe terms and when you think that your heart is beating very fast, rapid heartbeat, supposeidly can be your heart chakra beating and not your physical heart, it just appears that its your heart, when its one of its energy centres generateing energy for your obe.

in my oppinion both of what you and bookini say seem to be obe related and if you go along with them your probbly will leave your body.

Interesting thread. I know it's old but these experiences never die. Sleep paralysis is truly a terrible feeling. When I get it I usually am in a bad position, some limb is aching or the blood is cut off and I'm desperate, in agony but I CAN'T MOVE. Finally after an excruciating time I finally wake up enough to move and then I'm OK.

Another kind of sleep paralysis - there's someone in the room some threatening presence but I can't open my eyes. I desperately need to SEE who is there, but I just can't open my eyes and I can't move. Sometimes I can open my eyes a little, but not enough to see this threatening presence...very frightening.

About the rapid or irregular heartbeats - this can be the manifestation of caffeine, chocolate, drugs, alcohol - all of these can cause buzzing in the ears and rapid heartbeat. Usually happens deep in the night 12-3AM. I don't know why it happens then - the Hour of the Wolf. So check your diet/drugs of choice too.

Ive had a few experiences like this some I would say are the beggining stages of astral travel or at least thats what people seem to label it, but ive also had other experiences where I wasnt asleep but felt what only can be described as a vibration being increased and at first your just observing it but then the intensity keeps rising until you start to shake physical so it can begin to feel like your losing control and that is probably the point at which you fell into a panic attack.

Ive never totaly embraced it so I dont know what it leads to and I guess thats the fear of the unknown.

I do suffer from a type of constant blocked nose and I did notice that when the vibration reached my head my nose was totaly clear so although it feels unnerving i dont think theres anything to fear from it.

My advice if it happens again is simply observe the feelings without putting labels to them so if your shaking just look and feel the shaking instead of being scared of the fact your uncontrollably shaking.

You have come across something amazing!
