Glastonbury 2008 appreciation thread!

Awesome festival! Must thank JayZ for managing to get me a ticket.. First time I've ever been....

Highlights for me were Crowded House, John Cale, Steve Hillage, The Beat, Joan Armatrading, Manu Chao Amy Winehouse, Goldfrapp, Leonard Cohen, and a supernaturally beautiful set by Joan Baez.


I went over to check out JayZ to find him getting everyone to chant inciting the good people of Glastonbury to do a little gardening!

I had a great time, and I didn't find it in any commercial like had been said, quite the opposite in fact. The kids really enjoyed themselves, there's loads for them to do, some fantastic food stalls, though a touch pricey and great music to be found everywhere.

I had a weekend in front of the telly with it. It looked excellent. We're going to the V Festival (as we have for the last 5 years). Sure it's commercial as hell, but we like it.

We may do Download next year, just for a change.
