You know, as much as Maher can be a bit of a dough bag at times he does make a very important point here. If people really cared, they would go and find out for themselves.

It’s the responsibility that the masses don’t want. Nobody is being mislead, people choose to be misled by filtering in only what they want to hear, that makes them feel safe and comfortable.

Truth never hides, people just don’t want to see it. So Cusack is right on the ball with that one

Great interview with Bill Maher. The Keith Olbermann interview I could only listen to until after Keith's spoiler-like comments about the War, Inc. movie. Plus it was a nasty kind of sound processing in the Olbermann interview that made my bones rattle. Something like the penetrating sound they use in radio commercials where the voices have very sharp popping gunshot like consonants.

Scary to hear that the U.S. defense industry has such a large part of it being for profit corporations. And that percentage is probably growing by the day!

Unlike ordinary companies, the defense companies are being payed by the government. And to prosper, the defense companies probably see wars as a huge beneficial opportunity.

I always did like that John Cusack. Lets just hope it doesn't fall on deaf ears.

"Democracy requires participation" Nice phrase, people like George Bush/Blair etc. are who you get for leaders when a nations people become disillusioned and don't take note of whats going on politically.

Yeah well welcome to reality lol
What has David Icke been saying all this time? Cusack seems intelligent and honest, but does he really think Obama doesn't work for the same overlords?

At least it's a step in the right direction though. When Obama gets in and nothing changes, then people wil start to question even further.

Or people will pull the wool over their own eyes yet again, and believe that Obama has brought change, like the story of the Emperor's New Clothes where nobody can see past the illusion, except for one small boy (that's us lot, hopefully ;)).

Bill Maher is a NWO media whore. He looks to be in fear every time he speaks. He talks absolute bollocks.

People dont choose to be misled. Yeah people feel safe and comfortable. They are being deceived. They are FRIGHTENED of the truth. It's that FEAR thing which they have instilled into the sheeple.

"Truth never hides" ? Of course it doesnt hide, it's not a living entity, it's just INFORMATION. The information IS hidden from us by the "powers that be" and that is deception. We are all being decieved and we are finally waking up to this and we will ALL soon know the truth.

Disillutioned is right and the people become apathetic to it all, which co-incidentally is what the "powers that be" want from us.

You can tell from the two interviews that Cusack believes that left and right are an illusion. Yeah he mentions Obama possibily changing things but he (Cusack) has mentioned in one of the interviews that he can see that the Democrats have the same policies as the Republicans as regards the war, weapons and the monetary system etc.

John Cusack makes some good and valid points here. However, his saying that 50,000 people died under sanctions in Iraq is a slight under count. Its actualy closer to 1 million.
AND THATS JUST BETWEEN, NOT INCLUDING, BOTH GULF WARS.

fair play to him for speaking out tho
He seems reluctant to diss Barak Hussein however.
I get the impression he wants to say O'Bama is a a complete C U Next Tuesday.
Just like all the rest of them.
Just my view, I cud be wrong
LOVELOVELOVE

It really doesn't matter if he or 100 "celebs" speak out about the current situation because the majority of americans have their head buried so deep in the ground that it makes no difference. The only way that the majority of people in america will wake up is when their pancake mix isn't in the stores and they can't fill their horrible suv's with GAS. By the time that happens it will be far to late if it isn't already!

Celebrites do have the power to help to wake people up. Look at what Jim Corr did in Ireland!
Let me just make it clear, I'm not into celebrity-dom but I know that the sheeple DO listen to to them and celebrities have the ability to QUICKLY wake LOTS of people up.
Come on celebrities SPEAK OUT before it's too late. We need your contribution to this URGENTLY.
