Tourists avoid USA

The journey to the USA involves too many unpleasant moments, and tourists prefer other destinations with a more welcoming atmosphere.

The Danish Broadcasting Corporation reports that tourism is down by one fifth to the USA since September 11, 2001, something that has cost the American tourist industry 200,000 jobs.

The reason is not fear of terrorism but the long, slow and inquisitorial process that now greets arrivals, Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende reports.

According to a survey carried out for the US tourist industry half of those who have come into contact with US immigration authorities feel they have been poorly treated, and the industry is working to convince authorities that this must improve.

Danish travel bureau director Jan Lochard said the story was familiar.

"People experience the USA as a difficult land to visit, and it is not very pleasant being met by armed guards, demands of photo and fingerprints and a barrage of questions," Lochard told DR.

The Trolley Square shooting was a shooting rampage that occurred on February 12, 2007, at Trolley Square Mall in Salt Lake City, Utah. The shooting resulted in the deaths of five bystanders and the shooter himself, as well as the wounding of at least 4 others. The killer's massacre was fatally halted by 5 police officers, including one off duty officer who had been at a restaurant with his wife prior to the shooting.

The winding hallways of Salt Lake City's Trolley Square became a shooting gallery for an 18-year-old gunman in a trench coat who fired a shotgun randomly at customers, killing five and wounding four before being killed by police, authorities and witnesses said.

The shooter also was armed with a handgun and had several rounds of ammunition, Salt Lake City police Detective Robin Snyder said early Tuesday. It was not clear if he fired the handgun, nor had a motive been determined, she said.

The man's name was not released. He was a Salt Lake City resident.

"I was working and all of a sudden I heard a shot, and I saw security run by. I didn't really know what was going on. People just started running," a witness named Maya said.

Marie Smith, 23, a Bath & Body Works manager, saw the gunman through the store window. She watched as he raised his gun and fired at a young woman approaching him from behind.

"His expression stayed totally calm. He didn't seem upset, or like he was on a rampage," said Smith, who crawled to safety in an employee restroom to hide with others. She said the gunman looked like "an average Joe."

Killed were two 28-year-old women, a 52-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl, Snyder said.

The surviving victims were transported to several area hospitals.

Anyway, my friend returned from Russia not too long ago, and said the tap water for drinking was the same water that ran through the radiators. Yummy. And of course the military controls everything, so when the contract work he was doing was reviewed, 2 big trucks pulled up with about 2 dozen soliders. They wouldn't let anyone off the site until the job was inspected by some military officer. Nice folk, eh?

So instead of downplaying America, which is of course being dumbed-down because that's the plan, focus on yourself and freeing ze Motherland from the horrible police state that it is. America's getting there, but not quite there yet.

Most foreigners think all Americans are like all New Yorkers - who are mostly brash, ignorant WASPs. I have cousins from New York. They are the only New Yorkers I like.

One method that works is to calmly explain things, and start off with something small, like "For thousands of years, governments have enslaved the people". Most people would agree. Then, just add other things, eventually working up to the NWO or Illuminati or whatever.

If you blurt out "The satanic pedophiliac Illuminati CONTROL THE WORLD!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!! !", :eek: people will think you're crazy.
