Maybe they just took the popularity he has to attract people to an event like this and the live8 one also.
Since he's 90 it wouldn't be hard for them to keep him indoors protected by guards or aides and only show speeches they want people to see or make him say.

Just a theory with regards to him...but the prison number,46664, must have been thought of in advance (or made up or even changed nearing the end of his time). i dunno!

Havent looked into it and probably never will it seems there are too many things to care to look into these days to form your own opinion.
