FLYING SERPENTS AND DRAGONS

Chapter 6 : THE SERPENT-GODS AND IMMORTALITY

"Make a seraph and mount it on a pole. And if anyone who is bitten, looks at it, he shall recover." Book of Numbers

THE PERCEPTION OF THE SERPENT AS EVIL

Besides Adam and Eve, the other important denizen of the garden of Eden was the serpent. He is given qualities which rival and surpass those of Adam. Even Genesis concedes the point when it asserts that "the serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild beasts that God had made." The Haggadah describes the serpent as tall, two-legged and with superior mental powers. He was lord over all the beasts of Eden: "God spoke to the serpent, 'I created you to be king over all the animals. I created you to be of upright position.'" In the Haggadah there seems to be little doubt that he walked like a man.

In Genesis, the serpent was severely punished for his role in the downfall of Adam and Eve. His fate was henceforth to crawl on his belly. In this way, Genesis implies that at one time the serpent was a legged creature and lost his limbs as a result of the eating of the forbidden fruit. The Haggadah is more explicit and plainly states that "his hands and feet were hacked off."

In appearance, the legged-serpent must have been a fearsome creature, dominating all the animals as well as Man. In fact, when Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden, they wore "shirts of skin." But since Adam and Eve were vegetarian during this period and Man was not allowed to eat meat until after the Deluge, these "skins" must have been those sloughed off by the reptiles. Many ancient sources verify this.

Ancient Jewish legends indicate that the clothes worn by Adam and Eve were not only made of reptile skins but that they protected them from predators: "When they wore the coats, Adam and Eve were told, all creatures on earth would fear them." The serpent skins were symbolic of the ruling race, and not only reminded Adam and Eve of their origin but also acted as a talisman to protect them from wild creatures.

[Comment: Even today we still wear reptile skins - snakeskins, alligator skins, crocodile skins - many of which are quite expensive and set the wearer apart from the general multitude. And the serpent, primarily the cobra, was highly revered in such ancient cultures as those of Egypt and India.]

The notion of the serpent as evil is a fairly recent one, for it is one that developed during the early Christian era. In actuality, the Biblical serpent is often connected with godly knowledge, healing and immortality. The Hebrew word for the creature who tempted Eve is "nahash" which is usually translated as serpent but literally means "he who solves secrets."

Even in ancient Greek the word serpent posed problems in translation. In the Septuagint, the early Greek version of the Old Testament, the serpent is called "drakon." In ancient Greece the word "drakon" was used for all large fearsome creatures such as serpents, large reptiles, and other terrifying animals. Thus the term "drakon" carried over through semantic channels to the association of a large winged, legged serpent as dragon in Western literature and culture.

[Comment: Today the Greek currency is called a "drakma." It would be interesting to investigate the etymological source for this modern term.]

In all probability, the dragons and other fabulous creatures of mythology are but distorted forms of the serpent-god. It is a semantic problem fostered by man's revulsion in linking his ancestry to a saurian god. Two streams of understanding seem to have contributed to the legend of the serpent as evil and repulsive.

The first is the master-slave relationship. Man replaced the Anunnaki as workers and began to perform all the menial and distasteful tasks. The memory of this domination by cruel and merciless reptiles was further exacerbated by the descent of the Nefilim in the days before the Deluge. These space men intermarried and lived among Mankind, and both Scriptures and Sumerian sources reveal that they were a barbarous and cannibalistic race.

By the time of the advent of the Deluge, Man had come to despise and even to persecute these saurian offspring. Ancient sources strongly suggest that anyone showing signs of serpent-god ancestry was hunted down and destroyed.

The second major factor in the evolution of the idea of them as evil was the enmity between Enlil and Enki. When the lands were reclaimed after the Deluge, Enlil saw to it that his sons were placed in charge of the lands of the Middle East and that Enki's sons were allotted foreign lands such as Egypt and the Indus Valley. The sons of Enki returned to the Middle East, however, and his oldest son Marduk seized control of Babylon and claimed the coveted title of "fifty."

Enki is remembered as the creator and benefactor of Mankind and is associated with godly knowledge, healing, and immortality - exactly the qualities attributed to the serpent in the garden of Eden. Thus, the Biblical "Fall of Man" takes on the character of a confrontation between Enlil, the Elohim of the Old Testament, and Enki, the usurper serpent-god.

[Comment: Curiously in the book The Stellar Man by John Baines, the duplicitous Archon of Destiny, who tricked Moses and subsequently thereby became the usurper of power on this planet from the more "people-friendly" former Archon ruler, was known by the letter Y. Does this Y refer to Yahweh and therefore to Crown-Prince Enlil?]

The same conflict is seen in the Tale of Adapa when Enki prevented An (Enlil later came to represent An as he became the senior god) from tampering with his creation. There are echoes of this dissension in the Third Book of Enoch, when this Patriarch was to be given godhood and immortality. The "angels" representing the older order protested that God was revealing divine secrets to Man. They remind him that "did not the primeval ones give you good advice when they said 'don't create man'?"

To the conservative and older gods, man was considered to be an inferior animal, for time and time again he is criticized for his sweaty and dirty mammalism. In the Third Book of Enoch man is scorned by the minor gods or angels who characterize him as "mankind born of woman, blemished, unclean, defiled by blood and impure flux, men who sweat putrid drops." This disgust of the angels towards their sweaty and hairy mammal cousins is reiterated throughout the Old Testament where this dislike is masked under the imagery of the "weakness of the flesh."

The Anunnaki delighted in their reptilian appearance - their sleek, lustrous, and gleaming bodies - and mammal traits were repugnant to them. From an objective point of view, the elegance and beauty of the reptile form has much to recommend it. It is difficult to see how physical repugnance to these creatures developed.

The problem of revulsion is a difficult one, and better left to psychoanalysts. It seems largely to be a learned experience, a result of what we are taught when we are young. On the other hand, the lingering memory of the brutish and barbarous treatment by the reptilian ancestors may exist in our subconscious and contribute to the dislike of reptiles.

[Comment: Again we can single out another difference between the cultures of the Ancient Greeks and Hebrews. In Greece the gods and goddesses were considered to represent the ultimate in physical beauty and perfection. And as has been noted earlier, one of the primary reasons for the creation of Judaism in the first place was a rebellion against all things Greek. Thus, this revulsion to Saurian Gods may have originated at the same moment in time when Moses and his priests had to deal with the consequences of his pact with the "evil" Archon, ultimately leading to the Judaic religious traditions and this notion of the "repulsiveness" of anything reptilian.]

* The Book Of Enoch:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Enoch

The Book of Enoch is any of several works that attribute themselves to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah and son of Jared (Genesis 5:18).

The Book of Enoch describes the fall of the Watchers, the angels who fathered the Nephilim (cf. the bene Elohim, Genesis 6:1-2). The fallen angels went to Enoch to intercede on their behalf with God after he declared to them their doom. The remainder of the book describes Enoch's visit to Heaven in the form of a vision, and his revelations.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nephilim

Nephilim are beings who appear in the Hebrew Bible, specifically in the Book of Genesis, and are also mentioned in other Biblical texts and in some non-canonical Jewish writings. Genesis Chapter 6, verses 1 through 4 describe the origin of the Nephilim:

"Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.[1]

my views:

what gets me is that the two opposing camps in the truth movement are the religous and the alternative, and they clash with eachother unecessarily.

or is it by design eg divide and rule the oppostion.

thus the elite with disinfo agents set up agents in both camps to purposely divide the truth movement.

alex jones is a christian and thus should know about the fallen angels-reptiles.

icke should know about the book of enoch/fallen angels.

the whole reptillian versus fallen angels polarity is a false conflict imho.

both views support eachother, thus if reptillians are wrong/false, then so is the bible/fallen angels false.

even the vatican has announced that belief in aliens/reptiles does not contradict scripture.

thus the bible view eg genesis/book of enoch is 100% compatible with the alternative view of aliens/reptilians

the truth movement must realise that there are negative forces, different terms like the fallen angels, reptiles, aliens, computer programs/agent smith's, archons, djinn, annunaki., the vedic naga's, the aztec feathered serpents etc are all the same thing.

Daniel 8:10 The [Little] Horn waxed great even to the host of Heaven; and he cast down some of the Host and of the Stars to the ground and trampled upon them. / This Scripture is most curious as the Antichrist, being Satan in the flesh whose true destructive power is now finally unleashed, seemingly even has gained the power to kill Angelic Saints and/or Holy Angels, as the Greek word used for Star and Host in the context provided, does actually mean that the Antichrist has destructive power over Angelic hosts of Heaven. Similar to this, as the Antichrist is casting down these Angelic forces of God, he rises admidst his own band of warrior fallen Angels, as well as the mysterious ten kings or knights who suddenly appear with him (see Revelation 17:12; Daniel 7:24).

Reading Daniel 7:20 conjures up an interesting vision and contains relevance, as the Antichrist is seen as being "more stout than his fellows," the word stout meaning he is physically more swarthy, possibly shorter, even darker in appearance, which is interesting as those attributes describe perfectly the appearance of the ancient Celts.

It is also my belief that this dark future called the Tribulation, leaves those who survive the impending global destruction (which brings it about) unkempt, frayed, stout, and ragged, yet where some claim the Antichrist must be a short, dark skinned figure because of this description, they are not taking into account that the Scripture actually states the Antichrist only appears as "stout" in comparison to that of "his fellows." Who might these fellows of Antichrist be?

The Annunaki, seen by the ancients as powerful glowing god-kings, were once God's Holy Watchers whose task it was to look after the dealings of mankind in the ancient world. Genesis Chapter 6 and the Book of Enoch both inform us that in so doing, they fell in lust with the daughters of man and took them as wives, the same who later beget a race of hybrid giants known as the 'The Nephilim.' This says much about who and what these ten Kings will be, as well as of their appearance when compared to the evil-possessed Antichrist whose only other Biblical description by Daniel is that of having a "fierce countenance."

It is Matthew 24:37 which tells us that "As the days of Noah were, so shall the coming of the Christ be."

Noah's days were an extremely wicked age described as a time when Fallen Angels impregnated mortal women, and matches Revelation where those who worship the future Beast also worship demon gods in the same ways as the ancients did.

Revelation 9:20-21 states "[men shall not repent of their demon worship] neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornications."

All of this taken together paints a frightening grim picture for those who live in the Beast's Kingdom, with their murders (human sacrifices), their sorcery, their fornications (sex) with demons. Under seven years of rule under the Antichrist, mankind sinks to a level of Satanic depravity not seen since the days of Noah, even Sodom and Gemorrah.

We can now see why Christ compares the last days with that of Noah's time, when wickedness of every kind flourished and filled the earth. So the ten Kings ruling with the Beast are likely ten demonic Annunaki acting as Kings, overseeing the affairs throughout the ten regions of his future Global Empire.

The prophecy in Daniel 11:39 speaks to this coming Beast Kingdom that arises from the Sea by telling us 'he [Antichrist] shall cause them [the ten Kings] to rule over many, dividing the land for gain.' The very fact this future Global Kingdom is ruled by one King, yet divided into ten, each controlled by a lesser King, is quite intriguing, paralleling Atlantis, which had ten districts ruled by ten Kings while under the banner of one ultimate King of the world.

Daniel 7:7 "After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.

Daniel 8:7 I saw him come beside the ram, and he was enraged at him; and he struck the ram and shattered his two horns, and the ram had no strength to withstand him. So he hurled him to the ground and trampled on him, and there was none to rescue the ram from his power.

Revelation 12:4 And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child. (NASB ©1995)

-------------------------------------------------

so we have the annunaki/reptilians/aliens/fallen angels,

we have testament in genesis/book of enoch/daniel/revelations

do all these correlate ?, are we connecting the dots yet?

ancient cultures, ancient scripture, modern space exploration, new alternative theories, every thing is starting to correlate.

however correlation does not necessarily man relation/connection.

however i think in this case, correlation does mean something.

thus if the truth movement-spiritual movement is going to be mocked,

then so should the religous elite-mainstream,

as they both subscribe to the same truths,

the only difference is semantics.

http://www.crystalinks.com/reptilians.html

Description: Typically, Reptilians are described as 6 to 8 feet tall, bipedal, having scaly green skin, have a bad odor, have large eyes usually yellow or gold with a vertical pupil. They are sometimes linked to myths about ancient astronauts who allegedly came to Earth to seed the planet and promised to return one day. No one is coming back.

Theories involving Reptilian aliens are metaphoric in content, much like other creational myths throughout the programs of reality, weaving together clues to help one figure out humanity's journey in linear time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reptilian humanoids are a proposed race of intelligent, supernatural, or highly developed reptile-like humanoids in mythology, popular fiction, pseudoscientific theories and in the writings of New Age conspiracists. They appear in some conspiracy theories, most notably those of Riley Martin, John Rhodes, David Icke, and in science fiction. Reptoids, a conjoined word defining Reptilian-Humanoid beings, is the most popular name used to describe these cryptid beings, although some authors also refer to them as dinosauroids, lizardfolk or lizardmen. Other names include Draconians, Saurians and Sauroids. They are often described as being green or gold color. Similar to the other cryptids, no one has produced proof of the existence of reptilian humanoids, and allegations of their existence can at best be referred to as cryptozoology or pseudoscience.

Mythological references to reptilian humanoids

Several ancient peoples all over the world have described reptilian beings, and some have described reptilian humanoids. Common in numerous mythologies are tales of reptilian creatures (usually not humanoid) who are often, but not always, hostile to human beings. Also rather common are the myths of "Serpents of Wisdom" who enlightened humanity before the dawn of civilization.

Some individuals, doubting claims of reptilian humanoid sightings or contacts, suggest that the mythological preeminence of reptilian forms could stem from a genetic memory of instincts developed millions of years ago, when mammals were the prey of the reptiles which dominated the Earth. Dreams of reptiles are often interpreted as symbolizing "ancient drives" and "instinctive responses".

The Americas

The Toltec Mayan god Gucumatz was described as a "serpent of wisdom" who enlightened humankind. His Aztec counterpart was named Quetzalcoatl. In the Yucatan, he is called Kukulcan.

The Hopi refer to a race of reptoids called the Sheti, or "Snake-Brothers", who live underground. The Cherokee and other Native American peoples also refer to reptoid races.

In pre-Columbian mythology from Colombia, Bachue (the primordial woman) transformed into a big snake. She is also sometimes called the "Celestial Snake" (Serpiente Celestial).

Many users of the drug Dimethyltryptamine (the active ingredient in many South American shamanic potions such as ayahuasca) have seen reptilian humanoids or reptilian disincarnate entities and aliens while hallucinating (Strassman 2000).

Europe

Cecrops I, the legendary first King of Athens was said to have been half man, half snake. The ancient Titans and Gigantes were sometimes depicted as winged man-like beings with serpents instead of legs, for example on a fresco on a temple in Pergamum. In these images from Pergamum, some of which depict the gigantomachy, one sees the giant Klyteios with huge serpents in place of legs.

Boreas (Aquilon to the Romans) was the Greek god of the cold north wind, described by Pausanias as a winged man with serpents for legs.

The European dragon dates back to ancient depictions on various archaeological artifacts. An early instance in literature was the dragon that guarded the Golden Fleece in the Voyage of the Argonauts. In the Middle Ages, tales of dragons seem to have become even more common. The dragon in Europe, as a rule, was not conceived as having a humanoid form, and would not qualify as an instance of a reptilian humanoid unless explicitly described as humanoid.

India

In Indian scriptures and legends the Naga are reptilian beings said to live underground and interact with human beings on the surface. Some are alleged to turn human. In some versions, these beings were said to have once lived on a continent in the Indian Ocean that sank beneath the waves. Indian texts also refer to a reptilian race called the "Sarpa. The Syrictae of India were a tribe of men with snake-like nostrils in place of noses and bandy serpentine legs.

East Asia

The Chinese, Korean and Japanese speak throughout their history of Lóng (Yong in Korean, Ryu in Japanese) or dragons, conceived of in both physical and non-physical forms, but rarely depicted in humanoid form, though they may assume a non-reptilian human form.

The Japanese have tales of Kappa, a basically reptilian humanoid.

In China, Korea and Japan, underwater realms where the Dragon Kings and their descendants live are referred to, as well as the lineage of humans from a race of dragons. This lineage was often claimed by Asian Emperors, who were believed to be able to change from human to dragon form at will, much like the modern concept of shapeshifting reptilians. However, the dragon is seen as good rather than evil in Eastern tradition.

Middle East

In the Middle East, reptilian beings ranging from certain Jinn to dragons and serpent-men have been spoken of since ancient times. In one of the apocryphal books purporting to be the lost Book of Jasher, a serpent race is described.

In the Book of Genesis, God punishes the serpent for deceiving Eve into eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil by decreeing, "Upon thy belly thou shalt go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of your life" (Genesis 3:14 KJV). Traditionally, many have felt this implied that the serpent (a snake or reptile) had legs before then. Thus It is therefore often portrayed in Western art as a humanoid (woman) with a snake's tail, and sometimes lizard-like feet, as in a detail from Bosch's Last Judgement.

In the Middle Ages down to modern times, the Devil was often conceived as a humanoid with reptilian characteristics, as were demons in general. But the New Testament reference of Revelation 12:9 which identifies the serpent of Genesis as Satan himself (the "dragon, devil, Satan, ancient serpent," etc.) gives insight from another angle. The serpent in the Garden of Eden was Satan himself, a beautiful supernatural being (either called a "serpent" symbolically, or because he manifested himself commonly in a dragon/serpent-like form). Hence the reference to "crawling" and "eating dust" is purely symbolic of his ultimate defeat and humiliation.

Africa

In Africa, some shamans claim to bear extensive esoteric knowledge of a race of reptilians called the Chitauri, whom they say control the Earth. They also claim to have accounts of a reptilian race who created them and used them to work their gold mines. Also, the ancient Egyptian god Sobek was portrayed as a man with the head of a crocodile.

Modern Claims

Even in modern times, some claim to have encountered reptilian humanoids. In many of these cases, a UFO is part of the encounter; alien abduction narratives sometimes allege contact with reptilian creatures.

The story of Enlil and Enki is completely compatible with the bad copy reported in the bibble. This story is also compatible with the hellenic myth of Uranos and Cronos and with Mitriac/Saturn worship.

All these story are compatible with this alchemical scheme:

Uranos

Uranus (IPA: /ˈjʊərənəs, jʊˈreɪnəs/ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA_for_English)) is the Latinized (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin) form of Ouranos (Οὐρανός), the Greek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_language) word for sky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky). In Greek mythology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_mythology) Uranus (often cited as Ouranos), Father Sky is personified as the son and husband of Gaia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaia_%28mythology%29), Mother Earth (Hesiod, Theogony (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theogony)). Uranus and Gaia were ancestors of most of the Greek gods, but no cult (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cult_%28religion%29) addressed directly to Uranus survived into Classical times,[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranos#cite_note-0) and Uranus does not appear among the usual themes of Greek painted pottery (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Greek_pottery). Elemental Earth, Sky and Styx (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Styx) might be joined, however, in a solemn invocation in Homeric epic.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranos#cite_note-1)
Most Greeks considered Uranus to be primordial (protogenos), and gave him no parentage. Under the influence of the philosophers Cicero (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cicero), in De Natura Deorum ("The Nature of the Gods"), claims that he was the offspring of the ancient gods Aether (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aether_%28mythology%29) and Hemera (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemera_%28mythology%29), Air and Day. According to the Orphic Hymns (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orphism), Ouranos was the son of the personification of night, Nyx (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nyx_%28mythology%29).

Chronos

In Greek mythology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_mythology), Chronos (Ancient Greek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Greek_language): Χρόνος) in pre-Socratic philosophical works is said to be the personification of time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time). His name actually means "time," and is alternatively spelled Khronos (transliteration of the Greek) or Chronus (Latin version). Not to be confused with Cronus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cronus), a Titan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titan).
Chronos was imagined as an incorporeal god, serpentine in form, with three heads--that of a man, a bull, and a lion. He and his consort, serpentine Ananke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ananke_%28mythology%29) (Inevitability), circled the primal world-egg in their coils and split it apart to form the ordered universe of earth, sea and sky.
He was depicted in Greco-Roman mosaics as a man turning the Zodiac Wheel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zodiac#Zodiac_celestial_coordinate_systems). Often the figure is named Aeon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeon) (Eternal Time), a common alternate name for the god.

Mithra

Mithra or also Mythra (Avestan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avestan_language) Miθra, modern Persian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persian_language) مهر Mihr, Mehr, Meher) is an important deity or divine concept (Yazata (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yazata)) in Zoroastrianism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoroastrianism) and later Iranian history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_history) and culture.
Mithra is descended, together with the Vedic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_Vedic_religion) deity Mitra (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitra_%28Vedic%29), from a common proto-Indo-Iranian entity *mitra (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitra) "treaty, bond".

Nāga (Sanskrit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanskrit_language): नाग) is the Sanskrit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanskrit) and Pāli (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C4%81li) word for a deity or class of entity or being, taking the form of a very large snake (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake), found in Hinduism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinduism) and Buddhism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism). The use of the term nāga is often ambiguous, as the word may also refer, in similar contexts, to one of several human tribes known as or nicknamed "Nāgas"; to elephants; and to ordinary snakes, particularly the King Cobra (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Cobra) and the Indian Cobra (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Cobra), the latter of which is still called nāg in Hindi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindi) and other languages of India. A female nāga is a nāgī or nāginī.
