Some of you may already know this but apparently Warner have bought the rights to make a film version of Whitley Streiber's novel 'War of Souls'. Heres the books precise;
As struggling author Wylie Dale works on his latest novel, which revolves around an upcoming date when the earth crosses both the galactic equator and the solar ecliptic—a time that the Maya predicted would mark the cataclysmic end of this age—he begins to uncover evidence that what he's writing about is actually happening on a parallel earth. If nothing is done, on December 21, 2012, gateways will open into this world and reptilian invaders will not only enslave humanity but feast on their succulent souls as well.
I'm sure if Warner do actually make this film the intention will be to ridicule those who think the books idea may actually be quite believable as has happened by making most films about alien invasion.
Nevertheless, still worth keeping a note of in my opinion.
Whilst writing this Ive just discovered there another movie being made called 2012 starring John Cusack, again about the 2012 Mayan Calender. So we appear to have a theme going on.
Oh and another one starring Russell Crowe called ''2012: The Prophecy of the Serpent''
And another called 'The Shift of The Ages' directed by Steve Copelan, again about 2012, Mayan calender etc etc.
Any thoughts:confused:
