I was on a vacation when it closed down so I don't know what happened, for example was there any certain posts that made Harris to close it down?

he probably shut it down cause this one opened, why use a fan site when people can use the real thing?

A possible reason. If Harris really wanted to continue with the forum he would have switched to another domain name I guess.

Somebody from the old forum told me Harris was forced to shut up shop because of a bad hacking attack that involved stolen passwords and much confusion for all parties concerned. Things became abusive and messy, so he pulled the pin.

I used to enjoy it there. I'm against censorship, but there were a few morons there who were just so obviously trolling that they weren't banned when they should have been.

Cross site scripting is prevalent at the moment, my no script has identified 3 attempts over the last 2 days at cross site scripting, this method of attack is on the increase. You can bet your life that there are hackers on this and other conspiracy forums, so you need to be aware of the potential vunerability of your security from clicking on links posted by users on this and other sites. And use rootkit revealer regularly to check for and fix any abnormal changes made in your operating system, that may be as a result of a breach of your internet security.

Exactly! I belive that Harris' forum was just an experiment, it was a test ground.
And once this one was ready the Harris's forum was closed.
They used hundreds of forum members as guinea pigs. :D

That thought has DEFFINATLY crossed my mind. Was this forum not in "test mode" when Harris's went down ??
Nothing got closed at The Forum, It was that raw, funny deal whatever went down.
I can only speculate here......because I do not know the REAL FACTS.
It matters not, we are in a new house now, and we have a lot to give from the old place, remember there are new pepes all over this forum who have read Davids Books and his only, to be shown the LightPath.
Some of us here learned a lot from the old forum, and now is the time to put the wisdom we learned there to good use, to shine lights, to put up links, to fly our common flag with allegience to no one, and stand in the light with the feather and the flame and the heart.
Those that are hearing this...the time IS NOW !!
Uneducate and pick up the flashing gems that are for you, and us all.

The reason the forum went down is because I posted my latest Shirts off Showdown pictures, and a few without any pants on. Of course, the server couldnt take 6 Billion people logging on all at the same time, and it blew up and flew out of the milky way and into the Sun.

It's true there was some fantastic stuff on there from which I learnt a great deal...but it's such a shame the idiots deliberately trying to spoil it for the rest of us weren't banned. In the end, I stopped visiting regularly months before it went down, but I do wonder if the wealth of decent info and discussions will be lost forever?
That would be a real shame, for sure. :(

A very tolerant crowd, the old Forum lot, as far as I can remember. Loads of interesting facts and ideas, and voices of experience. And some cracking rants.

I do miss it a lot, but it's nice to see so many of its community on this forum. It's the people that make the forum, not the website.

Maybe the gay sites hacked it when you did that, mate, trying to get your personal details!
