We are headed down the path of non return I'm afraid. The reason for the high oil prices in the US (IMO) is to force us to conserve on gas so that when plans to invade IRAN happen they will have the reserves to do so. This will take another out-of-the-bounds US Constitutional resolution act of Congress.
Is the world a game of RISK?

Maybe this will stir your ever asleep American arse!! Believe it or not. It's not too late to wake the bear with the eagle.
Between now and the end of August, the delegates will learn that the voting record of John McCain puts him in the company of Alan Dershowitz, who has publicly stated that “The People have no unalienable Rights, the Constitution is merely a piece of paper and the Government should not be held accountable to the Constitution by the People.” The delegates will learn that that candidate’s voting record also puts him in the company of President Bush who was recently quoted saying, “The Constitution is just a God d***** piece of paper

Certainly this is true. Fat, Dumb and Happy. But it's wakey wakey time dear fellow Americans. No blame intended, just rise out of your collective stupor and meet the world and solve the problems we have at home before they blow up another country.

Cause seriously, I don't believe they'll be a US lead attack on Iran. The voting card is a parade of clowns. The difference being that this time one of those clowns has a different color face paint.
Someone tell me when this attack on Iran is coming. Before election? After? It seems perpetually in the future.

I'm going to speculate and say that the next president is going to be Obama with John Edwards his running mate. He'd be wise to go with the cracker farm boy from the south for his VP.
Still, when is the Iran thing going down?

It is when they want it to happen. GWB has laid all the ground work for it to happen. Personally I think it is a logistics thing. Everything has to be in place such as having enough oil and systematic planning. Of course there is the possibility of the next 911 false flag to trigger us again into believing what is false.
If I was to speculate, perhaps a major attack on Bagdad could be blamed on Iran prompting the US to cross the boarder and sweep across Iran from all sides. There will be no place to hide for them I'm sorry to say.
What will really happen is anyone's guess.
GWB did called Iran part of "THE AXIS OF EVIL" (13 Letters By The Way) along with N. Korea and Iraq. They took Iraq and now they have Iran surounded. Where do you think all this is headed?

Judging from the sentiment here in the US. I think they'll play the softer approach. McCain is acting like a warmonger, which noone likes, so theyll put Obama in the Captains chair, making eveyone feel like the country is back on the right track, then have an "incident" which will "force" Oboma to "respond" with the "only option", attack Iran.

Iran can launch missiles at the US fifth fleet in the Persian Gulf. They also reportedly have 10,000 missiles pointed at Israel.
Military analysts have predicted that an attack on Iran would be sold using an air only strategy, meaning 3 days of bombing, short but sweet, shock and awe campaign 2. However, they also predicted that bombing will fail and the US will be forced to launch a ground assault from troops stationed in the middle east. The excuse to pull troops and attack on the ground will be to "finish a job you start." A saying I can hear Bush saying in my head. Iran is not Iraq and will not be quelled by only bombing.
After a failed bombing run, with the fifth fleet destroyed, US troops will be pushed into the sea by the remaining Iranian royal guard. They will be cut off. Reinforcements from Israel, and other US allies will be awhile in coming. Bush will authorize the use of the new "useable nukes" launched from US submarines and murder millions of Iranians. This will incite the entirety of the Middle East to unite, making allies with China and Russia. After nukes are used the world will see America as a beast out of control and join forces to destroy it. It will be Israel, UK, US against China, Russia, and the Middle East in WWIII. All to usher in 2012. :)
See Scott Ritter, former marine and UN weapon inspector, "Target Iran."
But like I said. I don't believe it's going to happen. The launch time would most likely have been in April or May for it to happen before Bush leaves office. Could the next president? Maybe. There would definitely need to be a new "terrorist" attack before that. Just think, under Clinton there was the Oklahoma City bombing, Bush had 9/11, perhaps Obama will get a new reason to destroy the Constitution, launch another war, and murder millions of people. I think it's all just fear mongering at it's finest. Just like the Cold War where Americans believed that at any moment a million screaming Communists were going to come pouring across the borders.

Maybe Bush will just say fuck it and launch it. Who's going to stop him? I know. The same people who stopped him from attacking Iraq . :p

Interesting points.
On top of all this if we do go to war with them and put ground troops in Iran for another long term occupation, then the US economy will surely collapse. We're on the edge now as it is. But it is amazing that we have all this leverage to go to war.

What we need to do is start a nation wide campaign for everyone to vote for whoever they think is best to be president and not even consider the so called Dem and Rep nominees. A nation wide call for "WRITE INS" started right here at the David Icke Forum!!
Let me tell you that electing Candidates for nomination by popular vote is a false conception. This is because if the candidate that is not prechosen gets voted for, then the Super Delegates can step in and over ride the popular vote. This is what Hilliary Clinton was hoping for. She wanted to over ride Obama's lead in the popular vote with Super Delagates which consists of nothing but elites and politicians etc... If some scandal happens between now and the formal nominations, then the Super Delegates will step up to cast their vote the way they like.

The purpose of the GOP is to lower the costs of production. They use fear to to garner the votes of the ignorant, usually those they seek to exploit, and they can count on the votes of the greedy to vote their self-interests.
The Democrats are the party of the government, and they rely on the self-serving votes of those who benefit from it, and they can count on the votes of the more intelligent, who are repulsed by the ignorance celebrated by the "conservative" unwashed.
Either way, only a balance between the two saves us from complete corruption. Nevertheless, the two party system is one of incumbency over what is right.
I will vote for Obama because he may be better. That is a mild hope at best, but all we have this time.

Welcome nineandnally!!! Just a word. Forget the Republicans and the Democrats and vote who you want to be President. Just remember that your parents and relatives and friends and party pundits (God Love Them) have been brain washed with slick slogans and self serving party rhetoric. Take their opinions then throw them away. When someone tells you a witty sound bite about the parties just stand there and nod your head in agreement, then tell them what you are going to do. (Only tell them if you don't mind getting yelled at for "thowing your vote away", but it will help them make a more informed decision.) On the ballot there should be a "Write In" box. Write in the name that you think best embodies who should be President. If you love Nader and think he'll do a great job, then write him in.
Everyone in the country needs to do this. This is how it should have been set up in the 1st Place. My Write In vote right now is Ron Paul, but I'm going to have to look into this Libertarian Barr to see if he has what it takes for me to vote for him. In announcing the end to his campaign for political office last Thursday, Ron Paul called upon the People to do something that really makes a difference in the fight for freedom, to give the establishment the fight of its life, to save the country.
"[T]he last line of defense in support of freedom and the Constitution consists of the people themselves. If the people want to be free, if they want to lift themselves out from underneath a state apparatus that threatens their liberties, squanders their resources on needless wars, destroys the value of their dollar, and spews forth endless propaganda about how indispensable it is and how lost we would all be without it, there is no force that can stop them," said Paul. "The time has come to act on these words. May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in a moment of great crisis, stood up to the politicians, the opinion-molders, and the establishment, and saved their country."

The Honest Government Agenda: How Congress Can Clean Up Corruption
Commercial Alert released today the Honest Government Agenda, a set of fifteen reforms to clean up corruption in Congress and the executive branch.
“The Abramoff scandal shows us how Congress really works, and what we see is venal, mercenary and ugly,” said Gary Ruskin, executive director of Commercial Alert, a nonprofit organization that protects children and communities from commercialism. “The question is: what will emerge from the Abramoff scandal: will it be real reform, or sham reform?”
“Unfortunately, neither Republican nor Democratic leaders support real anti-corruption reform,” Ruskin said. “It is time for American citizens to insist upon having a government that can’t be bought.”
Following is the Honest Government Agenda.

At the beginning only white males could vote so it was an easy thing to persuade this small group into voting for the proper candidate. But you know what at least they really wanted to preserve the US Constitution and secure a sound economy based on a sound money system free of dept and fiat notes. That all changed in 1913 when our government throw in the towel and took out a 10 trillion dollar country equity loan. They had to pay it back in gold and lost federal governmental independence in 1933 when they ran out of the shiny metal stuff. This is just speculation, but the federal constitution may just be another piece of paper because they sold out. Perhaps that is the answer. Maybe people should understand this possibility, then they would understand what is going on and just why they can get away with what they are doing. If this is the case, then we need to reconstitute the constution. Reafirm it by popular vote. I can gaurentee that it will be impossible to rigged that election because it should reach near 100% of the vote in the YES collumn. If it was voted down due to fraud, then everyone would 100% know what to do. There would be no doubt as to what to do. Our course as a whole nation would be clear. Like the song "I can see clearly now the rain is gone."

'A Minnesota man trying to get mainstream exposure for his claims that he once enjoyed sex and cocaine with Barack Obama made a scheduled appearance at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Wednesday, and was promptly picked up by law enforcement on an out-of-state warrant ...
... The arrest followed a failed campaign by Firedoglake, a leading liberal blog, to prevent Sinclair from airing his allegations at the prestigious Press Club. But a couple blogging from Paris then began trying to arrange for his arrest at the appearance -- a plan that seems to have succeeded.'

It is time to send a few letters off.

June, 2008
Letter to the Editor:
re: The Plan to Restore Constitutional Order
Right-click here to download the .rtf text version of this letter
Dear Editor:
June 30, 2008 may be remembered in history as the day Americans began, in earnest, the moral and solemn process of holding their (servant) Government accountable to the Constitution -- under threat of withdrawal of allegiance, support and tax money.
To secure this end, the People have begun to claim and exercise a little-known, but unalienable, "Right of Redress," rather than depending upon the will of the majority as defined by precinct voters, those who cast votes on Capitol Hill, and those that vote from the inner sanctums of our Courthouses.
Most do not know that this profound natural Right, first articulated 800 years ago in Magna Carta, is embodied and protected by the Petition clause of the First Amendment -- the same Amendment which protects your voice in the defense of Freedom. Very importantly, academic research since 1986 makes clear the Right to Petition for Redress is NOT a redundant statement of the Right of Speech. It is in fact, the individual exercise of Popular Sovereignty.
To be sure, the widespread exercise of this Right holds significant implications for our nation and are most worthy of your interest. Here's what the Founders sitting as the first Congress had to say:
“If money is wanted by Rulers
who have in any manner oppressed the People,
they may retain it until their grievances are redressed,
and thus peaceably procure relief, without trusting to despised
petitions or disturbing the public tranquility.”
Journals of the Continental Congress, 1:105-113
On June 30, 2008, approximately 1200 American citizens will begin the process of exercising the Right by formally serving a Legal Notice and Demand for Redress upon the President, the Attorney General and every member of the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate at their local, district offices.
Demanding an official response within forty (40) days, the Notice includes seven (7) Petitions for Redress of Grievances regarding substantial violations the Constitution:
1. The Iraq invasion in violation of the war powers clauses.
2. The Federal Reserve System’s violation of the money clauses.
3. The USA Patriot Act’s violation of the privacy clauses.
4. The direct, un-apportioned taxes on labor in violation of the tax clauses.
5. The federal gun control laws in violation of the Second Amendment.
6. The failure to enforce immigration laws in violation of the “faithfully execute clause.”
7. The construction, by stealth, of a "North American Union" without constitutional authority.
We the People cannot elect our way out of tyranny. Any assertion that by electing either McCain or Obama we can cure the ills that now plague America is simply naive or based on a lack of information regarding the corrupting forces that truly influence and control our government and political process.
We urge you -- the media, to learn about this profound Right and to cover this event. Our Republic faces a watershed moment no less historically compelling or newsworthy than, e.g., the emergence of the Civil Rights movement. If Liberty is to survive through peaceful means, you must embrace your obligation - both moral and Constitutional - to bring this critical information to your readers, viewers and listeners.

WOULD YOU SUPPORT DAVID ICKE TO STAND IN THE UPCOMING UK PARLIAMENTARY BY-ELECTION CALLED TO DEFEND CIVIL LIBERTIES AGAINST BIG BROTHER?

He will stand under the title 'Big Brother – The Big Picture' if there is enough organisational and financial support to do a professional job in the short time we have to get this together.
If you wish to help please email Justin Walker at ... Jrgwalker@aol.com
To see how urgent it is to take action now see the Big Brother research archive.
We need help from all quarters, and especially in or near the constituency of Haltemprice and Howden.
If this is going to happen we need to move real fast.
We have had a tremendous response from all over the country in just two days, but so far no-one has come forward from in or near the constituency of Haltemprice and Howden.
For various reasons, we cannot go ahead unless we have active and administrative support in or near the constituency, not least in view of the ludicrously short time we have to organise and campaign with the election due on Thursday, July 10th.
We will make a final decision on Monday morning, but without the above we cannot go ahead.
