Some of these stories may well be to distract from the ' 42 Days ' debate - the ' papers on a train ' one is deliberately vague and the dolphins killing may have been deliberate.

Thanks DD, you seem well on the ball to me.. The only piece of news I caught on TV today was the Zara Phillips thing. Apparently she's hoping to swing it for the 2012 Olympics.

There's much more behind this story than meets the eye. It's defintely worth more investigation. ;)

Royal equestrian champion Zara Phillips has been forced to pull out of the Olympics.

The ex-world champion withdrew from Britain's Olympic eventing team after her horse Toytown picked up an injury, the British Olympic Association (BOA) said.

Miss Phillips, 27, who is the queen's granddaughter, said: "I am very disappointed not to have the opportunity to ride at the Olympic Games and feel that Toytown deserved his chance to go."

A replacement rider and horse will be announced shortly.

Simon Clegg, Team GB's chef de mission for the Beijing Olympics, said: "This must be a huge disappointment to Zara, particularly following the pair's success over the last few years.

"Naturally, we now need to focus our full support on the rest of the team, including Zara's replacement, and give them every opportunity of competing to their full in Hong Kong."

An injury to Toytown in 2004 forced Miss Phillips to miss out on the Athens Olympics as well.

She went on to win individual and team eventing gold at the European Eventing Championships the following year and won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2006 after winning gold at the World Equestrian Games
