I think they are doing it for more than one reason.
The "powers that be" are trying to make everyone lose confidence in all the banks (the Northern Rock manipulated fiasco is a prime example) in order that they can then have an excuse to nationalise them. People will automatically start withdrawing money from the banks cos they dont feel it's safe. THEY ACTUALLY WANT PEOPLE TO TAKE THEIR MONEY OUT so that they can forward their agenda.

I lost confidence in banks long before Northern Rock happened and I told people who I know to draw all their money out. The only problem is, what do you do with the money you draw out. One thing we all need to do is buy the stuff that we are gonna NEED and buy it NOW in my opinion.

It wouldnt surprise me if they are gonna search EVERY home and take what they think we shouldnt have. But that is just me speculating so dont worry. :o

I have followed this for over a year and I am firmly in belief that Story is reporting correctly as much as he can do considering the large amounts of disinfo out there as well.

Police officers have secured the concrete and steel vaults, and will take several weeks to remove each box, using angle grinders, to a secret location where they will be prized open with diamond-tipped drills.
