Most Walkers crisps have MSG in as well, disguised as 'flavour enhancer', although it does state that it is in fact Monosodium Glutamate as well...

Most chinese take aways in the UK use food with msg, dirty shit. Have doing a fairly good job avoiding it over the last few years, but at the same time I doubt I've completely managed to ignore as 'gremlin' said 'they're sneaking it into everthing'.
As far a crisps go, you can't beat Kettle Chips. I don't mind paying an extra 20p to be guaranteed that the ingriedients are all natural.

Yeah you're right there, they use the word "Flavourings" etc to encompass MSG & other shite, sneaky little bastards!:( It really is getting silly now with the amount of products this is sneaked into, it's a conspiracy I tell ya, lol:p

Hehe yeah but they taste SO good, I just can't help myself sometimes & a little bit of what you fancy now & again doesn't hurt too much (well that's what I tell myself anyway, lol):p I used to eat them quite a bit years ago but have severely cut down these days.

Absolutely, those "no added sugar" fizzy drinks and squashes are laced with aspartame in place of sugar. I for one think it`s no coincidence that own-brand ones as well as the ones on special offer take up much more shelf space than the others. Yet when I see all those people knock them back believing it`s good for them? My heart sinks :(
Crisps though? Why not make your own? It`s not as difficult as you`d think.

I class Rapeseed oil/Canola oil as poison. I would advise avoiding that too. You can do your own research. I avoid most processed food.
Tried to hold my breath as I cycled past a tractor spraying crops today but still got a mouthful. Last time this happened I felt wheezey and quite sick. The stuff today wasn't the same and I don't feel bad like the last time. We all end up eating this shit!

Listen to David Icke, because he speaks truth when he says
that you create your own reality, and anything only
holds as much importance as you yourself attach to it.
Therefore, aspartame, msg... (etc) are only as bad for you
as you believe they are.
As for all the information out there about how poisonous
and terrible these foods are, I have one thing to say:
suggestion is a very powerful thing.

I have to disagree because as in my first thread I did not realise until the ghastly after taste and other symptoms....
Both the Air Force's magazine Flying Safety and the Navy's magazine, Navy Physiology published articles warning about the many dangers of aspartame including the cumlative deliterious effects of methanol and the greater likelihood of birth defects. The articles note that the ingestion of aspartame can make pilots more susceptible to seizures and vertigo. Twenty articles sounding warnings about ingesting aspartame while flying have also appeared in the National Business Aircraft Association Digest (NBAA Digest 1993), Aviation Medical Bulletin (1988), The Aviation Consumer (1988), Canadian General Aviation News (1990), Pacific Flyer (1988), General Aviation News (1989), Aviation Safety Digest (1989), and Plane & Pilot (1990) and a paper warning about aspartame was presented at the 57th Annual Meeting of the Aerospace Medical Association (Gaffney 1986).

Perhaps not a bottle but a small diluted amount of H202
is beneficial if used as a mouthwash and for myriad other
health applications. :D
You don't need to recondition yourself.

Yes I considered the implications of the suggestive nature of warnings on cigarette packets a few days ago. When you think on these lines, which I do, then it's incredible. They've got thousands of people believing that they will develop cancer, hence spriralling the number of victims. They then seek treatment which treats the illness as an enemy which leads to further problems......

As has been mentioned in other threads distilled water is the best kind of water you can drink, no crap in it at all. Either an electric distiller or a solar still (which are easy to make) does the job of producing it just fine :)

From :
http://www.mercola.com/article/water/distilled_water_2.htm
"Distillation is the process in which water is boiled, evaporated and the vapour condensed. Distilled water is free of dissolved minerals and, because of this, has the special property of being able to actively absorb toxic substances from the body and eliminate them. Studies validate the benefits of drinking distilled water when one is seeking to cleanse or detoxify the system for short periods of time (a few weeks at a time). Fasting using distilled water can be dangerous because of the rapid loss of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride) and trace minerals like magnesium, deficiencies of which can cause heart beat irregularities and high blood pressure. Cooking foods in distilled water pulls the minerals out of them and lowers their nutrient value."
I opened my eyes because about two years ago I started hearing from long-term distilled water drinkers who had been consuming only distilled water and who had developed troubles with their hair either thinning or falling out in clumps. I've subsequently learned that hair loss is a condition often associated with various mineral deficiencies.
Since I'd been advised by a serious natural health student whose opinions I value very much that distilled water might well contribute to such problems, I started telling people with hair problems that they might try going back to filtered water or bottled water to see if doing so wouldn't help resolve the symptoms. Interestingly enough, many reported that their hair loss problems improved when they stopped drinking distilled water.
....
Another point involves alkalinity and acidity. Natural health writers generally agree that the body maintains best health when it maintains a ph leaning to the alkaline side rather than the acidic side, and yet distilled water quickly turns highly acidic, about 5.8 in an open air container.
Does it still make sense to you to drink eight glasses a day of distilled water that can potentially help to over-acidify the body?

wow there the only crisps i eat i didnt even think to look if there was aspartame in them thanks for tellin me :)
yeh all this MSG shite in most of our food cant get away from it. ive also noticed there is no vitamins or minerals in hardly anything that its ment to be in its almost like there taking it out. robinsons orange juice being an example
i clearly remember a few years ago robinsons orange had vitamin C and it even said it on the labeling "rich in vitamin C" now you look at it. it has nothing of any value for your body and has aspartame init. i could go on naming loads of products. i was shocked when i noticed this the other day looking at all my food products its so hard to get any nutrients nowa days.

There are mineral and vitamin supplements one could take I suppose if they were worried about their health. And even aspartame is to be found in winemaking kits  which is why I don`t buy them anymore (that and their cost).
But this thread was about crisps, shall we get back to those? ;) If you have a garden or a nearby allotment why not grow your own spuds and make your own crisps? ;) Or grow anything else come to that...

The principle`s very simple, collecting and trapping water vapour and letting it condense into a clean container for drinking. Try Solar still - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and why not have a go?
