Throughout my journey through the world or the net, I have never seen anyone mention this entirely simple and effective method. About 5 years ago, when I was 19, I switched to a natural brand of cigarette's from Camel's. In the US the current popular natural smoke is American Spirit. When I smoked my first stick I wasn't blown away; it tasted like something was missing, which was certainly true. All the chemicals that are put into Illuminati proll cigarette's were missing, and the cigarette's taste much cleaner.
After switching, every winter so far I've just quite smoking them for like a month, without any withdrawl symptoms at all. My friend does the same. We both start back up as spring goes into winter, and smoke thorughout summer. I'll actually forget to smoke on some days, which most people cannot do with chemsmokes.
Now the reason you're addicted in the first place is that there are 699 (666) chemicals added to the range of tobacco products. It has LITTLE to do with the actually nicotine which is a blatant scapegoat. The real culprites are the added chemicals. Therefore, in order to lessen your dependency on cigarette's by about 90%, all you have to do is switch and get used to --very easy-- to additive free cigarette's. After that point it will be VERY easy to quite for good.
I will point out though that I continue to smoke because I enjoy it, but not because my body is dependant. To a very small degree it is, but it's trivial. I also want to say that American Spirit's are more expensive. However, when you consider the health benefits, you're actually paying a much higher price for Marlboro's or Camel's. I currently roll my own using the canned tobacco and a 78mm roller, which is cheap. You can even add filters, but I smoke em without since I don't trust filters.
Isn't it interesting how something that has 150 chemicals in it, such as a stick of Marlboro, costs about half as much as a pack of Spirits? It's the same with bread. You'll find "bread" on the store shelf which has like 20-30 ingredients, while it's cost is considerably less than real bread. And it's also how two completely different things are still called the same thing. Marlboro's should be called imitation cigarette's, and fake bread should be called imitation bread.

Telling people to "just stop" isn't a realistic method. The vast majority can't, that's the issue.

Whether you are thinking of giving up or not, if you do smoke, I'd certainly recommend American Spirit. They smoke longer, taste better, and you smoke less because it's more satisfying.
Of course, they have to put on the packet that their "cigarettes are not less dangerous just because they have no additives".

Dude what kind of ciggs do you mean, iv tried a type of ''herbal'' ciggarettes they tasted like shite, they were like chopped up bits of bush you would find down the side of the road, iv thought about getting proper rolling tobacco but its bieng bothered to roll, although they are cheaper and have no added chemicals its just instant reaction to say 20 lambert and butler, or embassy rather than pouch of baccy, some filters some papers and a little rolling machine thing.. so basically here in the UK cammel arnt availible, what kindof alternatives are there?

I'm talking about additive free tobacco. Camel's, marlboro's, anything like that has the most chemicals. People think they are the best or A grade cigarette's, but these are in fact the worst, and are F cigarette's. I'm rather smoke my own feces, at least I know it's natural.
But ummm... Lambert and butler are another mainstream chemsmoke. You need to research what kind of 100% natural tobacco you can buy in the Uk. It's very easy to roll smokes using one of these hand rolling machines:

Iv checked out L&B on wiki before iv even contacted imperial tobbacco and asked if they used chlorine based agents to bleach the cigg papers (because when burned it makes PCBs or dioxins i forget, but there 1 of the most carcinogenic chemicals known. I havnt had a reply .. hmmm wonder y?
i dunno if i can use the freedom of information act to get it out of them, hell food has to have its ingredients listed, why dosnt tobbacco instead we just get stupid warnings on them!

I'm an addict, I love nicotine, it makes me feel good, so... kill me!.
I do not smoke pre-rolled shit though, I'd rather lick an ashtray thankyou very much.
And I'm what they call 'asthmatic'!. :D
