a bit risky.... might be some lumis here sending some dark sigils! :)

I heard that you should throw it when you have planted it.. so not got it any more... and i will only make one when i really want to focus on something ...otherwise it might be a bit like useing up all your juice.

Very true ...I didnt think of that :o

So what you are saying is if you create a sigil for yourself, you should create it ...look at it and then destroy it?

I dont know a lot about sigils, but I am very interested in them. :)

There's an on-line method of creating them automatically via the Sigiliser v1 on this page -

Instant disposal - just close the page!

If you talk about them do they lose their power?

If that were the case there wouldnt be any books or write up's or any knowledge passed on through the age's on sigils. If you talk about them do they lose their power?

Considering that the idea is that once you've charged the sigil you will want to conceal your desire from your conscious mind (the difficult part! - the sigil is working with your subconscious, which is more aligned to working with symbols), it's probably not a very good idea to repeat it to others afterwards, until your desired outcome is achieved.

The problem being that if you truly forget the desire you're likely to continue charge other sigils with the same desire over and over again. :D

that's one of the things I read about it... but not really got fully stuck into it... Im not sure if they mean like for a week to do it or for an hour then throw it...so on..

I did do one and I have to say it has worked to a degree... whether its due to a placebo effect or not ... I dont know.. but then again maybe a placebo is a kind of magick...

check out some Phil Hine if you want to learn more about them..

Keeping the thread going, how about a bit of Grant Morrison?

Pop Magic! (online document)

and his classic address re: magick etc to the DisinfoCon in 2000 (video)
