Aside from the many rock stars who have died at the age of 27, and the lore surrounding the number, I have recently learned that 27 contains significance in Cheiro's Book of Numbers. John Lennon carried this book around with him for some time, using it as a compendium of daily life. It's interesting to note that the new movie about the Lennon Assassination is named Chapter 27. JD Salinger, the author of the Catcher in the Rye, was supposedly in the working of adding another chapter to his opus. Mark David Chapman, lennon's assassin mentioned how he wanted to write chapter 27 in lennons blood in the custody of the police.
can anyone explain exactly what the number 27 signifies? in Cheiro's book of numbers, 27 is described as lucky and a sign of rebirth. from a logical standpoint, 27 doesn't seem to bring anything positive to the table. the people who fell to it were deeply troubled throughout their lives. of course logic is faulty and the truth, no matter what it may be is the only answer.
