This is an extremely interesting thread and I hope it goes well because I would really like to know what these cards could be telling us. "The Tower" card comes to mind and how it is smashed in almost every tarot deck. I thought about it when the towers went down 9/11, not that this was the biggest mishap to happen, but because it seems the world started to speedily go down the tubes at that point.
I am not a religious person, but it seems as though revelations may be playing out for some odd reason. Maybe there are enough religious people who need this or someone is trying to make people believers. Don't know.
BUT, I would love to be able to figure out what comes next.

First of all its important people understand the meaning of the word Apocalypse, it means "Revealing" or "Unveiling"... its not a negative word... not saying you guys don't already know that..

then also I think the Tarot have a very deep meaning that mirrors our world...

The Devil (materiality) Temperance (balance or the true self) Death (transformation).

The Devil: Where most people seem to be, sleeping through everything. No waking choice here. Same old same old.
Temperance: I think some are finishing up the game in this focus and ready to join back with their true self and begin an entirely new game.
Death: Perhaps some want to continue on with somewhat the same game, but on a more peaceful level. What some of the new-agers call ascension.

I'd love to hear thoughts on this, but in a kind way. Remember, I'm just throwing out some ideas I have had. Right or Wrong. :)

The Hiram key and more importantly the second messiah books have information concerning the tarot .When i read the first one i was struck by the symbolism of the tarot that came up in the story , having used them for a number of years . The second book just confirmed this ,as it goes into more detail linking the tarot as a hidden book revealing the secrets of the craft, if i recall correctly .Worth a read for some information into the masonic mindset:D

Yes 2013, great books! Symbolism is everywhere even during meditation. I don't think the illuminati or the likes created symbols. They just hid knowledge so that they could use the symbols as a means of control. Religion has always been the greatest means of control and so why would they not continue to create new religions.
