The last Britain to be held in Guantanamo Bay is to be sentenced to death. After 6 years of incarceration and alleged torture in the camp he's finally due to be charged and faces the death penalty.

Of course he's not going to get a fair trial.:rolleyes::( He'll get a sub-rosa court marital with a military officer appointed to act for him.
People will say "Yes, but these steps are necesary to protect us from terrorism." Of course the most serious terroist incidents are false flag govt black-ops, but even if they weren't it doesn't matter. The thing is that once we accept any exception to civil libetries and the rule of law, no matter how small and no matter how extreme the circumstances, we set the precedent for the authorities to expand it into other areas. It's like a pinhole in a balloon!

Yep, agree 100%... Things like this are just the thin end of the wedge. I think the public are under the impression that these issues involving human rights don't apply to them. I reckon they might be in for a shock over the next few years as we see harsher penalties for "softer" offences.

The US Has a torture camp! and people are ok with that! they've been brain washed t othe point where its consider ok to TORTURE people, this is Medeval! I've actually argued with people who think that this is nesscary! there ok with it!
Its the end of the world as we know it!
