For some silly reason, I decided upon a 3 year University degree, as such I am graduating in July. As you can imagine, I am not to happy about having too wear the silly black hat and cloak. Causing of course, much turmoil with my other half, who already has her own graduation photo. I am aware of some of the various symbolism connected with the ritual, such as the un-natural squaring of the round, with the silly hat. Also pretty sure, it has something to do with the planet Saturn.
Any help on this would be great. Thanks

I know, it is an official illuminati stamp of course (trained monkey), and now I'm just another "brick in the wall". (well thats what "they" think, anyway.lol)

hi falseflag.
Do you actually have to attend the graduation ritual and wear that silly symbolic hat anyway?
What would happen if you were sick that day and couldn't get out of bed? You'd still graduate wouldn't you? ;)
Why don't you get a very bad dose of 'something' horrid that day and ask your beloved to PLEASE attend the ceremony and pick up your degree for you?
What could be cooler than two graduation photos.....one of herself graduating and one of her pretending to be you? :D :D :D

Just opt out, or fail to turn up. I have heard of plenty of graduates who chose not to participate.

Just turn up in what you want. You have a right to express yourself. After all you are celebrating completion of your degree, not trying to appease a silly old dress code. Your the one who has put in the effort.
If people cant look past a uniform what does it say about their real education. Surely its the contents of you that is important, not the external costume.
Good luck!!!

I skipped my graduation ceremony! I didn't want to be a monkey in a black dress! And I was pretty fed up with all the BS, the debt, the hardship, and the contrived hoops I had to jump through to get a piece of paper showing that I was now 'educated'.
I played the education game, but I played it on my terms. Incidentally I got a first class honours degree. He he!
I did however show up to claim a cash prize for a piece of work - and refused several times to wear the cap and gown for the presentation photograph - much to the dismay and annoyance of the Head of School.
And to finish - a true tale.
An irate university professor rings the campus IT helpdesk to complain about a trivial matter, but clearly a matter of significant annoyance to himself.
A quiet mannered operator answers the call and after receiving an unexpected earful, has to explain that the prof's wishes cannot be met at this time due to a shortage of available staff. At which point, the following brief exchange occurs:
Irate professor: "What do you mean there is no one available at the moment? Do you know who I am?"
Mild mannered operator: "No...Do you know who I am?"
Irate professor (somewhat wrong footed): "...What?....No!"
Mild mannered operator: “Good! Now....FUCK OFF!!!!" ....and promptly puts the phone down.
To this day, when spirits are low - a spontaneous “Do you know who I am?" never fails to raise a smile.
Peace,
