In this life, I have always understood why pessimism is fashionable because I have always been pessimistic and that is one part of me which I have always known. It was because if I fail a with smile on my face I believe I will look like a fool. If I play the game with a pissed-off and depressive attitude then when the time comes and I fail I can just shrug it off and say "I wasn't even trying." I know you have observed it in yourself and others when you play a sport. If a really talented athlete is on a sports team with a bunch of amateur players and they are playing against a team of players with impressive synergy then that "really talented athlete" (especially if there are spectators present) will make sure that is understood by everyone there that he is not playing to his ultimate potential... not even close. In fact, he is more talented at letting you know that than he his with his actual athletic talents! The question is then asked by the more aware people there, "Well how great is he really?" There are of course many other examples of this bizarre collective trait we all have.
We all know what to do but we don't want to look like fools. We would rather utterly fail in the end and blame it on confusion than do something worthwhile that could be scoffed at by a small portion of our despicable society.
The time has come when we need to request for our weak and juvenile personalities to be completely exposed and therefore eradicated in order to bring back our boldness and radical imagination. We have degraded ourselves for far too long by conformity to culture and a subtle-but-same-thing-in-different-disguise conformity to counterculture (i.e. "There is no stopping the reptilian elite so lets go smoke weed and talk about Alan Watt while we exaggerate our depression.")
Oh and fuck this meditation is the answer bull shit too! No more asking questions either. No more cop-outs. We either do something or fail. There is no trying.

I strive for more and more productive insanity every day. I mean people say "our ego's are insane" but really our egos are just scared and confused animals. If my/your true self came out in all it's glory, my ego and all other egos would say "now that is fucking insane!"

So what are you waiting for?
You know when you feel sick and you think you might throw up but you don't want to? Then you think "I just have to," and you go in the bathroom and you begin to gag and you say "there is no stopping it now." I am gagging right now.

Take it easy now. Lots of water or juice. Are you under attack or something?

As you wish.

maybe at the moment you are not really interested in meditation,
which is just fine... but that does not mean you need to call it bullshit.
meditation works... and it is self-empowering.
and it is very possible to do the kind of work as David Icke or Alex Jones do,
while at the same time live a meditative life.
prime example of that would probably be Mahatma Gandhi.
on top of that, if one practices meditation... he gets to know himself better.
to know yourself better, is to understand other people better...
and the better you understand the way people are...
the better you will be able to influence society in a positive way...
because society = the people.

I didn't say meditation is bullshit. I said meditation is the answer is bullshit.

I love this thread.
"All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy beleive we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near."
"To be certain to take what you attack, attack where the enemy cannot defend. To be certain of safety when defending, defend where the enemy cannot attack. Therefore, against those skilled in attack, the enemy does not know where to defend; against those skilled in defense, the enemy does not know where to attack. Subtle! Subtle! They become formless. Mysterious! Mysterious! They become soundless. Therefore, they are the masters of the enemy's fate."
"Do not depend on the enemy not coming, but depend on our readiness against him. Do not depend on the enemy not attacking, but depend on our position that cannot be attacked."
"In ancient times, those skilled in warfare make themselves invincible and then wait for the enemy to become vulnerable. Being invincible depends on oneself, but the enemy becoming vulnerable depends on himself. Therefore, those skilled in warfare can make themselves invincible, but cannot necessarily cause the enemy to be vulnerable. Therefore it is said one may know how to win but cannot necessarily do it."
"With formation, the army achieves victories yet they do not understand how. Everyone knows the formation by which you achieved victory, yet no one knows the formations by which you were able to create victory. Therefore, your strategy for victories in battle is not repetitious, and your formations in response to the enemy are endless.
The army's formation is like water.
The water's formation avoids the high and rushes to the low. So an army's formation avoids the strong and rushes to the weak. Water's formation adapts to the ground when flowing. So then an army's formation adapts to the enemy to achieve victory. Therefore, an army does not have constant force, or have constant formation. Those who are able to adapt and change in accord with the enemy and achieve victory are called divine."
"If you know others and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know others but know yourself, you win one and lose one; if you do not know others and do not know yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle."
"The more you read and learn, the less your adversary will know. Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win. Thus it is that in war the victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory."
"If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected."

I agree that doing something is very important. When failing it is also important to reflect on it though, and then try try again :)
Failing is not at all failing, its just finding another way not to do it, thereby actually getting closer to the goal of doing it ;)
Too many people I know, sometimes including myself, think too little of their experiences. Think it a waste of time seeing someone trying to do something and failing. Seeing it and seeing what caused the failure is a good lesson for both the observer and the... failer? :o
So I agree, go do something, we can only learn from it, and at least find either new ways to do something or ways not to do something. I feel like I live to learn, and try to use every oppertunity I can to learn something new. This forum has been a great source of learning for me since I joined, and has given me many good ideas about things to research on the Internet and sometimes in real life. When figuring out something so obviously true and researcable today in real life, it gets all the more exciting when actually go seeing for yourself, or test it / try it out yourself.
Im not really sure about meditating. Maybe I am doing it daily, and maybe I havent done it in years. I dont really understand metation enough to say. I sometimes take a few deep breaths to focus myself, but actual meditation seems to take too much of my time. There is so much to do, and only 24 hours a day. Some of them I even have to sleep
Then again, I am a day dreamer, and I guess that is quite close to meditating :)

farros and blane, Feel free to add to it/print it/post it in other forums/on the street.
I was "spreading the word" a few months a go. One of the best things I figured out was to go to topix.com, where you will literally reach millions, and just post messages along with links to the best videos, websites etc... to all types of different forum topics. The best thing is you don't have to register either. You just pick a name and go. Also you can register to other forums and do that too which is also very effective in a different way but with topix.com you reach many people very quickly.
Bring them to this forum too. I had an idea along time a go for all of us in this forum to compile a masterpiece collection of the best videos, websites, articles, etc... and have them all nice and organized, in a saved thread at the top of the general forum where all the newbies can get an idea.

Cool i might check that out... another way to reach lots of people is to post on IMDB.com on the newest movies... the new indiana jones message board has tonnes of people now so a big "911 HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH BIN LADEN" thread is always good even if they dont open the message.
