Supposedly this news conference with the media invited is being held this hour (12p central, Friday 5/30). Last night on Coast-to-Coast AM (coasttocoastam.com), the host George Noory spoke to the person who captured the film as well as the marketing guy in the 1st hour of the broadcast. The men said that a number of scientists have been reviewing the film and would be presenting their initial findings at this news conference. He said he did not go through mainstream ufologists because he wanted a completely scientific analysis and presentation of the footage.

They said that the video would be played for the media but they would be prohibited from taking any video or photographs of it, since the science team had not finished their analysis. Additionally, the owners of the video would be releasing a comprehensive documentary later this summer (suspicious to me).

However George asked to have an image from the film sent to him and they agreed. George said he would have it posted on the coasttocoastam.com website tonight. Furthermore, tonight is open lines all night--- I imagine a number of calls will be about this news conference and the image if it manifests. Right now in the US, I'm not seeing anything on any of the wires about it.

This is what the man who shot the footage said on-air last night. The incident occurred in Nebraska a couple years ago. The man said that he would see someone looking into his kitchen window at night, he'd then go out the door but there would be nothing there. He felt that he might have a peeping tom since he has 2 twin teenage daughters. One of his friends suggested that the next time he sees the person looking into his window, that he set up a video camera with night-shot, announce loudly that he was going to bed, turn out the lights, and hit record. He said he did just that.

George asked him what was seen on the video. He said that you could see the head of the 'thing' clearly in the shot, the infrared from the camera reflects in it's retinas, the being is seen blinking, there are 2 light flashes, and it goes away. Remember that this is taken through a kitchen window. He described the being as resembling 'not a typical alien image', but 'had a big head and big eyes'. George outright asked him if this was a model or someone in a mask, the man said that he had shown it to a film expert at a university and the 'expert' said that if it was a man in a suit, the suit or mask would cost thousands of dollars to create.

The man also said that on several occasions he ran out with a baseball bat thinking it was a peeping tom. On this occasion he said that he did open the back door, and saw the 'thing' running away, "it was lanky, but it is difficult to describe the gait, it is almost like it was running toe-heel".

It is obvious to me that today's news conference is a carrot designed to market their documentary which will be the public's first exposure to the video.

Alien Footage

First half-hour guest, Stan Romanek (http://www.stanromanek.com/) spoke about footage of an alien he videotaped in Nebraska using a camera set on 'Nightshot' or infrared. The video shows a being just over 4 ft. tall, with large eyes, peering through a window, he said. He also saw it running away in an inexplicable manner.

Joining Romanek was Jeff Peckman (http://www.extracampaign.org/), who is sponsoring an initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver. The video footage, which is reportedly being studied by scientists, will be presented at a press conference on Friday to further Peckman's cause.

Ok, FoxNews just did a 2-minute interview on it (4pm EST), here are some pictures. They did not show an actual image of the film, but they did flash up a number of alien representations. Sorry I don't have video capture capabilities. The interview was very skeptical didn't peddle a 'loony theory'. Basically the assumption of the interview was that it was a hoax since they are trying to make a documentary out of it and aren't just releasing the video directly to the media. Lots of questions were asked, "What does he eat, how did he get here, does he have hostile intentions?" The host, Shep Shepard, even asked him to release the video and they would air it on Fox, but peckman said some line about agreements!

There is a fake window video floating around already. You can see the difference in the window from the 1 image that was taken from the "real" video and the ones posted above. This whole thing turned into a circus quickly and the fact that he's talking about a documentary is a big let down.

Absolutely. I for one will not be buying the documentary out of principle. Went down this circus road before with the Santilli hoax. The press conference was a total teaser and basically an advertisement for the documentary. It might be a legitimate piece of footage, but regardless of all of the 'scientists' and analysis they do for the documentary, that whole marketing and profiteering thing will always cast a shadow of doubt on the veracity of this thing for me.

I'll second that pac3lli. I was just thinking the other day how this guy could go profit on this if it was so real. If it is a honest piece of footage (and I'm starting to wonder if it is..) It should be just played on the news or on Youtube or something! But wait a minute! It's gonna be a documentary you have to pay for? The world's most amazing video clip showing that there really is other life in the universe will be a on a DVD you can't have until a certain date?

Please... This is really starting to get suspicious, and it's not the first time it's happened either.
