Just been thinking - meditating and a few new thngs occured to me about archetypes and how they are used. Was thinking about the light - how everything is basically light energy - how in the light there is no dark - darkness is an illusion... This led me to contemplating The Angel of Light - Lucifer, that archetype, thinking of how this was actually a symbol for a light (truth) bringer - and it's possible that Christianity has knowingly subverted this very archetypal symbol by describing the lightbringer as the most taboo, fearful and evil figure - Satan, in effect, linking up in our unconscious minds the ideas of illumination or enlightenment with the equation of falling and hell, evil and suffering, etc.

Comments on this?

Thought about it and it seemed very slick and effective to mind program people through perverting myths on universal archetypes, how the occult understanding of symbolic language is quite extensive and how this may have been used in so many ways on us unsuspecting humans.

This led me to thinking about other things, how Jesus, the Enlightened one is equated with another big fear scenario - crucifixion and martyr programming could be set up thru the subverting of this archetype....

Then I was thinking of the Myth of Psyche and Eros (Greek Myth The Soul and Cupid)
and how Psyche is this mortal who is punished for 12 crazy years of penance for the "crime" of looking at a God (her hubby Eros who is Immortal)

Thinking of the sorts of unconscious warnings, fear implants etc being laid out here - The suggestions that one shouldn't look at the divine (isn't it all around us?) - where this will get you (wrath of the gods etc) - would love to hear other's input and maybe debunking of other myths... Could be a cool thread to investigate a lot of these myths...

Sorta reminded me of how like in the horror movies we watch - love and sex always lead to being murdered in the most crazy ways.... all this kind of subconscious layering of mind control such will lead to such little people - so fear, and don't go there!

Great thread topic .I have often thought about this , Lucifer the rebel who wanted to be equal to god but fell and was banished .Dont rebel dont question authority, know your place .Very effective mind control to keep people down .If you look at all religious myths the numbers tend to ad up as the same ones recurring over and over 12 apostles surrounding one god like figure, king Arthur and the knights of the round table 12 of them in the main .Astrological zodiac figures .The 12 labours of Hercules one representing each sign of the zodiac. The 24 elders surrounding the throne of god and the 24 virgins Muslim martyrs get to spend eternity with .There are lots more examples of this .you need synergy777 lydia78 and cheeb amongst others posting in here they have some good info theories on the subject :D

Yeah, what about Icarus "don't fly too high" - hey how many of these archetypes are really all the same symbol I wonder???

Everything is a code .Those who are rich or in control have always had the time and money to explore the nature of the universe thru religion amongst many other things .Perhaps they just are way ahead of the game concerning the decoding . Maybe the universe or multi verses unfold anyway whether they appear to manipulate them or not .They are just doing what they do and certain factions like to appear all powerful . The little man behind the curtain is just that .In times like these where there is a larger population and with technology like the INTERNET more and more people are seeing the pattern , working it out for themselves :D

Archetypes of this nature most likely find their origins in confabulated ancient occurences which have passed down through genetic memory/collective unconscious. Modern day primitive tribes often turn encounters with modern technology and soldiers into spiritual/mythological stories, so we could assume that our ancient ancestors would have done the same upon being confronted with something alien or unfamiliar to them. In any case, things like this are usually held onto for survival purposes. That is to say, there is something telling us that these "myths" and "legends" are still relevant to our continued survival on this planet, which is why we tell the same stories and the same tales over and over and over again, in every aspect of our expression.

Your point concerning the nature of God/Yahweh or "light" and "fire" and his detractor, Satan, "darkness" and "water" is a significant one. Indeed, anyone reading texts with a clear understanding will realize that, time and again, the "rebel" figure is attempting to free, educate and inspire mankind while the "controller" is attempting to keep them uneducated/imprisoned. That the dominant control religions are those which continue to worship the "controller" is no surprise and no accident. It's a deliberate mockery. God/Light was the invading presence.

Genesis:

"The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness."

"The "molten sea" finds its parallel in Babylonian temples in a great basin called the "apsu"(deep). As the ziggurat typified a mountain, so the apsu typified the sea."

"The exact meaning of his name is uncertain: the common translation is "Lord of the Earth": the Sumerian en is translated as a title equivalent to "lord"; it was originally a title given to the High Priest; ki means "earth"; but there are theories that ki in this name has another origin, possibly kig of unknown meaning, or kur meaning "mound". The main temple of Enki was called é-engur-a, the "house of the lord of deep waters"; e-unir or é-abzu, the "house of Abzu" (the house of far waters)"

Satan is the "god of this world" or the "lord of the Earth". The confusion of God/Enlil with Satan/Enki, as well as their symbolism and purpose, is a monumental deception in modern control religions.

Great posts guys, thanks - and one would have to ask given that light, this very brilliance we are all but facets of, if there is not any reason other than our own blindedness which explains the fallacy of darkness?
