Ciao,

when reading all these news about Korea and Iran and their nuclear programs, and how easily and "conveniently" the "threat of rogue nations" affects world politics, I have started to seriously question the true nuclear capability of ANY country.

I mean, the nuclear threat is like an game of poker; you just bluff even though you have a set of lousy cards. There are a few skeptics who believe the whole nuclear/atomic bomb is a hoax.Found one book on the subject, Edwin Corley: "The Jesus factor". Has someone read it?

I don't mean that *everything* in this world is a hoax-but the theory of the whole nuclear threat being just one of those many government FEAR-propagandas(like global warming) promoting total control is interesting.Any comments?

Nil homini certum est.

A thought came to my mind. Instead of looking at nuclear threats as something to fear, the more mature way to look at it is to see it as a form of insanity. The same will all kinds of wars. At best it's total utter immaturity! Like apes fearing each other and therefore trying to dominate each other. Ugh, ugh! :D

Interesting theory. But I don't think that atomic bomb explosions can have been faked. It would be much more difficult to fake nuclear explosions than moon landings for example. With today's advanced computer graphics, faking nuclear explosions on video is possible, but in the past that would not have been possible. Some say that the power elite have much more advanced technology than what has been revealed to the public, and to some extent that may be true, but I don't believe they had the kind of powerful computer graphics 50 years ago that would have been needed. And what about the atom bombs detonated over Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WWII. Surely, those could not have been faked?
