my little girl is 5 years old and suffers with terrible asthma. Due to a recent bout she was kept off school as she was to ill to attend. I have recieved a letter from the education welfare to say that if she misses another day then i will be fined 50 pounds and be taken to court. Im absoloutley fucking disgusted. What am i supposed to do? send a sick baby to school. Bastards!

Yes they are SICK to the core!

I get a dumb text message off my sons school even when I have phoned them. They dont like it if I text them to say he wont be in, 'Oh no! One rule for them :(

It was so easy bunking off school in my day but they are really strict now, dont want them to miss out on their programming now do they? Im not saying that your daughter is bunking off! She would be terrified if she had an asthma attack at school

I feel so sorry for you! Try to think of it this way....they are just following protocol, it isnt an attack on you, it may help you to feel easier about it
I hope your little girl improves very soon, there is nothing worse than not being able to breathe

As your child does not legally have to go to school in the UK as long as they get their education, it makes it more of a joke this school`s reaction.

Have you tried this website? http://home-ed.info/

Fuck the school and fuck the morons that pass for teachers.Take her out of there. The state doesnt love your child,in fact your child is worthless scum in their eyes;something to be brutalised and tamed. She should be taught by the ones who love and cherish her. Whatever your circumstances, you can teach her yourself if you put your mind to it.

And lose chances of a decent life?

Look, I don't like much of the education system either, way to materialistic. But we just need to think twice and get through it so we don't have to worry about basic things later on in life.

Have you had you daughter tested for food intolerance/allergy?

I have asthma as a child which was caused by an allergy to milk. Also when my nephew started drinking cows milk as a baby he came out in a rash over his entire body. The paediatrician said that cows milk allergy in children is very common and can present as a rash, asthma or both.

Just a thought :)

Here here! As i've mentioned in other topics, both my school age children are taught at home.
We dump our elders in homes and we dump our kids off with the state mind-fuck machine called school and everyone else goes out and prostitutes themselves for money. They want the family unit to fragment. Taking your kids out of school and teaching them to think and act independently is the most fundamentally subversive thing you can do and the biggest blow you can deal to the NWO.

Thanks, I havent had her tested yet. I avoid giving her dairy as much as possible. Her chest infections are quite frequent. She suffers from terrible eczma, but this has calmed down profusley as she has become older. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. x

Under-5s curriculum

A powerful coalition of England’s leading independent schools is demanding that the Government scale back its new national curriculum for the under-fives, claiming that it violates parents’ human rights by denying them the freedom to choose how they educate their children.

The Independent Schools Council (ISC), which represents 1,280 fee-paying schools educating more than 500,000 children, has written a blistering letter to Beverley Hughes, the Children’s Minister, complaining that the new curriculum will mean that the education of under-fives is subject to greater government interference than that of any other age group.

A leaked copy of the letter, seen by The Times, says that the curriculum, known as the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, will compromise its member schools’ independence. “This clumsy intrusion into the early years’ curriculum of independent schools is both unjustified and unnecessary. More importantly, this interference conflicts with the rights of parents to privacy in their home life, which includes the freedom to choose how they educate their children and to educate them free from the control of the state,” the letter states. [...]

The "framework" becomes law in the autumn and will affect all 25,000 nurseries and childcare settings in England, whether they are run by the state, charities or private companies. It sets out up to 500 developmental milestones between birth and primary school and requires under-fives to be assessed on 69 writing, problem solving and numeracy skills. [...]

There are also fears that the legislation, which requires nursery staff to make constant written observations on children to note their progress, will interfere with teachers’ ability to interact with children. [...]

Unlike the national curriculum for schools, which does not apply to independent schools, the framework will apply to all pre-school settings. [...]

I'm glad I bunked off half the school years back in my day, mostly with my parent's consent, back when the system wasn't making money off it.
