I was reading a website that mentioned Jesus=888 in Greek and Cross=777 and it said that 666 is the number of the anti-christ.

A bell went off in my head. Wait a minute, it made no mention of a greek work that equates antichrist with 666.

It went on to say that Russian president Putin will be 666 months old in April 2008. Also that the world population reaches 6.66 billion at the same time, and claims Putin is the antichrist.

So, can anyone PROVE that 666 means antichrist?

The greeks used letters and combinations of letters to make up mumbers, and yes the first letter was used for sixhundred, the second was used for sixty and the third was used for six, so far it is all true.
I have heard of an older version of revelations which has the numbers 600 10 6, but I have not looked into it. But things are seldomly as simple as they seem. Lets go with the 666 it is true that 'they' often use this as a hidden symbol, but I think this as much for redirection and to cause confusion as anything else.
When the book of revelations was written the greek letter for sixhundred I am told was no longer used. If that is right the first letter would stand for some other number. We are looking at a time when Greece was part of the Roman Empire so there would be a good Knowlege of Roman numbers.
The first letter is an 'X' yes so it would be 10 60 6. 1066 by this number you would know them. could that be when those bloodlines gained kingship. when William under the banner of the red dragon gained control?

You would probably really like Dan Brown's book, "Angels and Demons". I t's about the underworld of the Vatican, of course the books is designed to mislead, just like da vinci code was, but a great read about Vatican and Cern.

I tried this on a whim. I put 666 in a calculator and hit the inverse (frequency) button and got this:

there's some kind of resonance here. I especially notice how 111 and 999 reflect each other, I have heard 1 and 9 correlate to love and light.

I submit this represents the sword/tongue/written word (the pen is mightier than the sword/tongue) of the Christ-man.

You are right. 666 in revelations is the number of a man, as is clearly stated.

I don't ever recall seeing the term anti-christ being used in the bible so we have to assume that it was a term invented for propoganda purposes, to demonise any leader who did not do the bidding of the church.

Well this is wrong. The Hebrew letter and word for sword is Zain, and even if you spell it out in full and use those numbers it will not be 600. Zain is the sword that prevents Adam and Eve re-entering Eden after they were booted out.

Also, God can be spelt many was but the most basci is El, numeric value of 31. I think man is Adm, value 45

A bit more than just England most of the popes are decended from the norman bloodline. As is all European Aristocracy. Not to mention that for Roman Catholics there are 73 books in the Bible, as the Protestant version omits 7 books. They are the books of Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus, Baruch, and 1 and 2 Maccabees.
