I have been noticing this more and more in doctor who episodes recently . Yes there is reference in the older series as well .This new series though has the doctor refered to as the lonely God and as rose's angel .Rose tyler what colour tiles does she lay black and white. Rose being sacred to venus rose line etc . We have had the angel symbolism in the christmas special with kylie ,and villian max capricorn when the doctor , stood amidst the flames! ascends with a golden angel either side .The most recent episode was titled the unicorn and the wasp .The first picture in the collage is the doctor sat with a sun disc clock behind him .Giving him a golden sun halo .This is also the same symbol as the metropolitan police shield on their helmets . The doctor uses a time machine that is stuck on the appearance of the classic police telephone box .As the chameleon circuit wich changes the appearanceof the time machine so it blends into any enviroment is broken .Shapeshifting ? Also as you know the doctor doesnt die he regenerates at each death 13 times in all .Sowe have the sun and the 12 signs of the zodiac theme again as well as king arthur and knights of the round table same theme .The doctor is a Time lord and a renegade one at that who does his own thing basicaly .So we have a rebel fallen angel god like figure with a fondness for earth and humanity who often rescues us .He killed the devi lrecently as did jack harkness a sometime companion of his in the spin off series torchwood .
Torchwood is an anagram of doctor who , created by queen victoria to adress the alien threat to the nation in future. Speaking of nation terry nation created the Daleks and is credited with creating the Doctor series but it was a joint committee of bbc staff acording to wikipedia . during the Werewolf shapeshifter episode last series Queen victoria was bitten by the alien wolf and according to the program that accounted for the strange blood disease the royals carry . The doctor also calculated that the genetic strain would become active and show itself early 21st century ! .
The 1999 Movie a joint USA BBC venture had a one off doctor portreyed by paul mcgann . He was shot and left for dead and when he regenerated he was left to long and didnt regain his memory straight away . We see the red planet from space skaro home of the daleks.Associated perhaps with mars the war like red planet . Then we see two planets become eyes , lizard reptilian type eyes .The master has died the doctors enemy and wishes him to transport his remains home . We see another lizard eye from above which turns out to be the cage containing the master , who incidently has regenerated 15 times so far despite not being able to do so that many times .(maybe its just a story after all!! :p)
When the doctor regenerates on the eve of the millenium he appears dressed ina shroud . Confronted by an orderly who proclaims Oh my god then faints .He wanders down a dark corridor away from the light . Tunnel of light away from death rebirth ? seeing his image in multiple mirrors as a reminder of his previous selves .Or perhaps split personality disorder we see a doll in one image to emphasise the baby jesus perhaps .New millenium .Falling to his knees he looks up and shouts who am i , ina classic jesus pose and angel like wings form from the shroud .Later when he recals his identity he tells someone confidentialy that he is only half human on his mothers side ! So it would appear we have a plethora of archytypal images being played out here mostly jesus alien savoiur ones sun god but with a mix of rebel fallen angel lucifer . He is the good guy but the archytypes are effective . I have watched the series since childhood and follow it now with grandkids .more images in next post :D

Donna Noble, "the noble woman". Donna also means "generous". I noticed this too. There are two references in the script to date about disappearing bees. Is one of the future episodes going to explore that in more detail?;)

I too have noticed the 2 reference to bees as I watch it with my son. On the episode the other week when they were saving (I forget the names of the alien beings:rolleyes:) I remeber donna saying something along the lines of how can this happen, 'they' being made to be slaves, the doctor then said, well who do you think makes your clothes, is that not the same? mmmmmmm there were lots more things I noticed, but I think it depends on who the writer is as to the different messages that come out and who's side their on, i.e. info or disinfo, just a thought:)

yes well spotted i noticed that as well .Maybe that is why they use different writers so they can sneak these references in . Children are so susceptible to these influences . i realized a while back that a lot of my ideas ,former beliefs stemmed from TV programmes such as Children of the Stones and SKY etc from when i was young .Do these programmes plant the ideas or merely awaken them in us .triggering the memory .both i suppose :D

I watched Children Of The Stones on DVD a while back .... still as creepy as I remember it. I wish I could get Sky on DVD as well.

Hi hagbard_celine…J has recovered a little but unfortunately she will need a genuine divine miracle to make things completely right again.
Although having stated that! Not exactly a miracle but before J‘s hospital stay in 2007 she used to scoff at the idea of Angels etc due to suffering so much physical pain from the age of 10…Anyhow a few days before J’s release from hospital she experienced something very unusual…Due to the illness J lost her hearing some years back but on the night of the 22.07.07 (when still awake) J actually heard a male voice speaking about things she didn’t understand…The voice mentioned the cup, the book and Agnus…The same night and approximately same time (11:45 pm) as J’s curious message I had a dream where-upon I saw a bright yellow light surround me and a male voice stated something regarding J…The following day I was unable to visit J in hospital but she sent home a note via her dad…J wanted me to google search the words spoken from the strange voice…So I carried out the search and my jaw kind of dropped when I found the word Agnus which apparently when combined with Dei…Agnus Dei is the Latin term for lamb of God regarding Jesus Christ.
Not being a religious family…that was a freaky moment…and it was a few days later when J received the signed photo from the actor David Tennant….As I’ve already mentioned…It truly was a memorable moment…:)

I'm sorry your little girl's still poorly, nimlyn. But it must have been a comfort when she had this experience. Spirit guides, helpers etc often appear in a guise that the person is familir with, like Jesus.
I wish her all the best for the future.:)

They are showing a marathon of this show in the states and I have been watching it ALL day. lol There is so much symbolism, predictive programming, propaganda and imagery in it...total sensory overload!!! Damn entertaining, though and I too, have a crush on the doctor. lol
My son woke up from a serious operation a few years ago to the theme music to Doctor Who.

Thats an amazing tale about your son . The girl in the fireplace is the best ever storyline in the complete series for me , probably one of the best sci-fi stories even .I wonder if gallifrey was a veiled reference to nibaru in a subconscious hint :D

I see a similarity between the Dr / the Master and Enki and Enlil, one gods favours mankind, one doesn't.
In the new episode did you catch the blue beam reference? That smart alien clone kid or whatever he is from the Sarah Jane Adv mentions dodgy wifi signals making everyone hallucinate.
This one is extra crazy but I'll mention it anyway, you remember the scene with that little see through box like thing big enough to fit two people in, one through the left door, one through the right, but only one person can leave, one has to stay locked in. Well, look at the sides of it, you see a picture of a different king on either side. Maybe this is referencing somekind of transition of consciousness from one king to the next, one goes in and another comes out, very similar to how the DR changes from one body to another.. The dr mentions a race that is genetically bread to die young, those higher up may live as long as the dr, and he his hinting at us. I hear the raggy dolls theme tune playing, raggy dolls raggy doll, made imperfectly, raggy dolls raggy dolls, dolls like you and me.
I usually hold back on the seriously crazy stuff, but enjoy :)

This sounds exactly like what David Wilcock talks about with the salamander embryo, they transmit alternate genetics and thus modify the organism.
They could be geneticaly messing with us in such a way to help bring the master race back into full control. However David Wilcock mentions it is transmitted via a beam of light so maybe it's just my mind seeing things that aren't really there.

I recently heard Rik Clay talk about the Lord of the Rings. He describes the "Ring" as symbolizing a cycle, ie time, therefore it becomes Lord of Time. The fellowship must hint at a group, two towers the masonic pillars, and the return of the king I assume would be the return of the glory days of rule and worships for them (maybe even an actual return of an actual king).
This ties in obviously with Dr. Who, Time Lord and the new episodes return of the time lords (kings? they looked very majestic).
Another thought about the Tardis, ie. it being blue and it being a police box and it being bigger on the inside. Who is at the top of the police? Those with blue blood.
Those on the outside see only a small part of whats there, on the inside you see much more.

Check out Dr Who the sea devils episodes starring Jon Pertwee . Mid 1970's .These ones are set off the coast of the isle of wight on board an old sea defense building . The sea devils live beneath the sea and are a reptilian race who are the original inhabitants of the planet . Human beings fought with them and they went underground but want their planet back now .

I was just thinking about how the very first episode was broadcast the day after the Kennedy assassination . Death of a sun king birth of a time lord! :Also the timely gap in the series so he can be there come 2012 given if it had of continued and helived his 13 incarnations the actors playing him would of probably quit well before this time period .Did they need the cycle to complete around this time new age ? :D

I popped round to my mums the other day and I caught her watching it, she never liked Dr Who before but we had to sit in the kitchen before it finished :D

After seeing this thread yes there is some truth to it all, The Master and The Doctor were to be both the same person, a split personality created a seperate entity or entities, this was going to be revealed in a Jon Pertwee story by Barry letts, one was light and the other was dark in which one of them would give way to save one's life!, but sadly Rodger Delgado the original Master died before the story could get made or produced!.
In 1994 a script was concived to be the bible of the series but it had major problems mainly for it's conflicting the original series so having decided not to go with the John Leekly script story Mathew Jacobs wrote The Enemy Within TV Movie which went out in 1996, I think it was a major hint of what The Master and The Doctor are, they are not brothers but the aspect of the same person The Ego and The Id of which the Time Lords created out of one to fight against the other, In 2009 specials, Rassilon on the other hand claimed The Master being (diseased) that his fallen status from being a Time Lord did not allow him to become an ascended being of which Rassilon wanted for his fellow Time lords!, however The Ood could shapeshift for some reason and appear as The Woman In White which appeared alongside The Time Lords as The Doctor's mother!!!, she wasn't credited as The Doctor's Mother but infact was Ood Sigma being a watcher figure which appeared to The Doctor to tell him his meddling was going too far, the result his death would come to save the life of Wilfred Mott who would knock four times to signal his time had come!.
