this is my first post... never found this introductions forum the top of my screen keeps mentioning...

has anyone else noticed a lot of current songs seem to be foreshadowing something?

"we've only got 4 minutes to save the world" 4 years to 2012? what is the doomsday clock at now?

everything i read seems to contain messages the people around me don't understand.

I dunno... all I know is I am scared. A few weeks ago a girl with downs syndrome I had only just met made motions to me about something flying through the sky... she hit me when I asked what she meant. A few days later I was on youtube listening to a video about "Niburu's 3000 yr orbit".

Does anyone else feel like everyone around them knows what they are thinking?

It's okay if you read this and want to make fun of me... anyone I speak to thinks I am insane.

Yeah, a lot of songs been foreshadowing End Times/Doomsday, movies too - there are three possibilities:

1) They have insider info regarding what's coming up and are translating that into their art.
2) They are merely exploiting the noticed cultural apprehension about End Times/Doomsday, such as the popularity of the Conspiracy Theory genre.
3) It's coincidence.

What do you think it is?

I cannot comment on the intentions of others.... doing so always seems to pull me into a hole. I doubt it's coincidence though.

All i can say for sure is that there is some messed up stuff going on that everyone seems to ignore, or it's so in your face you miss the significance. Then there are the really important events that flash by so fast you can't grasp exactly what happened and you are left thinking "did I see that?" "did I hear that?"

I was driving down a major street in my area and saw this blue thing, looking like a fireball or something... fall out of the sky. Never heard about it on the news... didn't anyone else see that outside my vehicle?

That was the night of the eclipse... + a "satellite" being shot down + a "meteor" falling in the states somewhere + what I saw... I only saw one news clip about the "meteor"... so fast and never again.

Lately I have seen things shooting by in my peripheral vision. small and fast... and i'm alone in my house. I hear a clock tick REALLY loud, one tick every once in a while. I hear fingers snap from the other room... there is no one there.

It's like whatever is around me is hiding. Part of me wishes it would show itself. A BIG part of me is petrified of what it may be.

Know what you mean, subjective phenomena that is anomalous to your rational mind can be trying. Just gotta ride it out, stay focused and strong.

I once saw a huge Orange ball of energy zig-zag across the sky and disappear into space @ the speed of light when I was nine years old, visiting a Hellfire Club in Dublin. No shit! I remember it as clear as the day I saw it was.

Other stuff too, mind stuff, programs. It's all part of the human experience for especially senstive/imaginative people (possibly psychic-sensitive) I figure.

Important thing is not to take it as evidence of something too quickly, read and investigate. And don't be afraid either, or ashamed. ;)

That is interesting. I stumble on such things in the underground of music. In non mainstream and main stream music. Even The Cure has such songs.

There is just one reality. You shouldn't be afraid. Some choose to see and some travmatically ignore it. As some choose to read about the occult and writings and productions of other real people and some don't.

There are several ways to explain the Pythagorean comma. In a nut shell you cannot tune a circle of perfect 5ths and end up where you started.

Start from C and tune perfect 5ths all the way around to B#. You will find that C and B# are not in tune.

A perfect 5th is 702 cents.

An octave is 1200 cents.


1200+1200+1200+1200+1200+1200+1200= 8400 cents


8424 - 8400 = 24 cents = Pythagorean Comma

The frequency for the lowest C on the piano is around 32.7 Hz.


A perfect 5th is a 3:2 ratio or 1.5


32.7 * 1.5 = 49.05 (G)
49.05 * 1.5 = 73.575 (D)
73.575 * 1.5 = 110.362 (A)

Carry this all the way out to B# and you get 4242.705 Hz


An octave is a 2:1 ratio or 2



32.7 * 2 = 65.4 (C)
65.4 * 2 = 130.8 (C)
130.8 * 2 = 261.6 (C)

Carry this all the way out to C and you get 4185.6
Obviously 4185.6 and 4242.7 are not the same frequency.

The reason for all the references to doom and gloom in song lyrics. Is because they are probably written by one person that visits this and other conspiracy forums. I expect they are also an undergraduate. But you already know that. Otherwise you wouldn't be here.

Each of us contains the answers to the questions we have. We have just forgotten what the answers are, and sometimes what the questions are. I know my own answer is to totally sacrifice myself. It is to die and rise again. I'm not sure if it is a biological or a spiritual death.

This is I feel a process that we all must attest to at some point in our splintered time from the one. I expect that plenty of others get caught up in the emotions and go ahead with that leap too far. I have yet to see if I can last the course or if I or other's will have a hand in my ultimate downfall.

Perhaps my own Bridge to Terabithia will come too late to prevent me from falling from grace. Maybe just maybe I have already signed away my soul. Who knows, only time will tell.

I haven't been here in a while... I hope you are ok. I don't know what you mean by undergraduate, except to assume you are speaking of a degree... I have my undergrad but I have no idea what this would mean in regard to this discussion... perhaps that is the point.

If you are suggesting that i am out of a loop... I readily admit I am. If I don't make sense and am seeming paranoid or self centered... I apologize.

Anyway... any assistance anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. I came to this site with the hope of gaining understanding but seem to be perpetuating my current struggle.
