I shouldn't have used that word, because it gives the impression that it's very damaging to the body, like cocain or liquid sky. There is a down time after the 6 hours, and something within the mushroom does take a toll on the liver. I know that from personal experience.

Interesting, but I'm not sure about that whole alkaline/acid thing. I'll go through periods where my body really craves acid such as vinegar.
