Pope & snake?

Tonight while at work I looked up at a tv screen just in time to see a shot of the Pope being handed a huge white snake.... unfortunately the shot changed straight away, so I was left with no answers to what I'd just seen..

A quick google search has revealed nothing.... It may have even been something totally unrelated (i.e a skit from a comedy show etc) but obviously my ears (my eyes?) pricked up when I saw the pope together with a large snake!

Anyone have any clues what I may have seen?

the only white snake i've had conact with was an albino burmese and it put me in the hospital.

I hope the pope was more careful (or do I?)

I'll take your word for it. See, this is the kind of stuff I see--random images that are totally consistent with what Icke is saying about Reptilians. If I had seen what you had seen, I wouldn't have been all over that mentally. It probably represents the white Reptilians, which the Royal family supposedly are.

Yeah it was definitely a gigantic albino snake...

I agree with the royal connections, I'm interested to hear if this was part of a 'ceremony' and what other symbolic connections could be made...
