Reading various forums it appears that this year's meeting hasn't taken place yet and that those who are always anxious to discover its precise location beforehand are struggling like never before to pinpoint where it will be.
This has given rise to speculation that 2008 will be "the year" when the New World Order "go for it" by bombing Iran's nuclear facilities and alleged terrorist training camps to cause further prolonged conflict in the region, hike the price of oil up by at least 50% at a stroke and ensure it keeps rising till the world's economies collapse.
The preferred theory is that after several years of civil disorder, starvation and rioting the people's of the globe would welcome any alternative, including being enslaved with microchip implants so as to protect their identities and distinguish them from all the baddies.
Twelve months ago I emailed various high-ranking news bods at the BBC to ask whether there was a conspiracy of silence there regarding Bilderberg. The editor of Panorama had nothing to say, of those who replied none actually stated "no".
A search of BBC Online revealed that the name Bilderberg hasn't appeared in any of their news items for over two and a half years. During that period Ed Balls and George Osbourne attended but prompting their journalists to summon the energy to make mention of those facts has proved to be fruitless.
