In Australia Coco cola amatil own 50% of the bottled water market, thats about 350 million litres a year, they own these brands

Mount Franklin
Peats Ridge
Neverfail
Pump
Bonaqua
Deep Spring
Taurina spring water

Coco cola amatil is publicly listed company but is 35% owned by Coco Cola USA (they have 2 board members of 7 total)

May explain the recent crap about adding Flouride in bottled water

The price itself, of a bottle of water, is amazing these days. I'm not surprised, that the Elite, have cornered the market already (water shortage scare ahead me thinks). Every time I buy a bottle of water, it really does hammer it home, that nothing on this Earth is free.

I'm so happy we have our own waterwell, we had the water tested last year and it was very clean.
Its so lovely to just be able to drink without having to worry about it like I did when I lived in town!

This is an important issue Garth and not just for people who reside in Australia. It is an issue about the earths limited resources being plundered by corporations such as the Coca Cola company for profit.

Recently the Australian government granted a license to the Coca Cola to extract 1 million liters of water from the underground water system for 25 cents. Yes thats right 25c for 1 million liters of water this is in the same week that they passed Stage 3 Water restrictions in Victoria!

bloody hell, I didn't know that, you are right about it not only effecting australia and it will become a huge thing in the future. I to would like a link if you have one (tried a quick google but came up blank)

I got onto this by reading the label of a bottle of Kirks Olde stoney ginger beer, it "said 100% Australian owned" and I thought Bollocks as I knew coca cola USA had something to do with the Oz company...thats were it all began..

Aholes....makes you wonder who at Southern rural water has a new car or beachside house from the deal. Its no wonder they say that the aluminium can cost more the contects for a can of Coke at .0000024 cents per litre for water it stands to reason. Mr consumer pays what $1.20 or so for can (don't drink it so not sure) big profit here:eek:

You know, Richard Pratt the 'card-board king' of Australia recommended last year that the $$price of "normal house water" consumption should triple. Well, I hope he invested well, because that's the way it's going.

P.S Pratt may have alot of cash, BUT it still aint gonna save Carlton.

I understand what your saying stan, But what peolpe fail to realise is that spring water goes through a 'natural' reverse osmosis process. When the water bollows from the mountains and is hitting, then bouncing of rocks, the water it being purified, regardless of chemtrails.

Hi friendsinthesky
Sorry mate i wasn't taking the piss out of spring water at all infact if anyone has a spring on their property as garth said sit on it because it will serve you well in the years to come. I am on tank water where i live and so are all of my neighbours they all think its the best thing since sliced bread but considering most times it does rain out here we get bombarded with chemtrails beforehand i cant bring myself to drink it. My appologies if there was any confusion
Cheers

I drink Life Energy Water. It is a tad expensive but well worth it. I first started drinking it when I went to hear Dr Masaru Emoto talk in Brisbane. I had forgotten to take my water with me and so had to buy some. It was the only water available there and everyone was saying how good it was.

I was buying it from the local Health Food Shop but later phoned to get it home delivered. The lady to whom I spoke was telling me how, since drinking it herself, her crippling arthritis was no longer causing her such pain. I was amazed as I realized that the osteoarthritis in my spine was no longer causing me any problems. It has a natural PH level of 8.6 and so reduces the acidity levels.

If anyone is interested it is available in most of Australia now but is hardly known.
