so, if those figures are anything like right, E-S exceeds E-G by a factor of the order of 3×107 --- which is actually less than I'd expected, but safely > 1.0. The Earth's path is not everywhere concave to the Galactic centre.
The velocities are proportional to R/T :-
S-G : 30,000 / 250,000,000 = 3×104 / 2.5×108 = 1.2E-4
E-S : 1/(365×24×7) / 1 = 1.6E-5
so, if those figures are near enough right, S-G exceeds E-S by a factor of the order of 8, and the Earth's path is not self-crossing.
Binding Energy of a Sphere
The binding energy, U, of a sphere (homogeneous, of mass M and radius R) is the energy required to move all of its particles to infinity in different directions; it is given by U = 3/5GM2/R.
To calculate U, one can dismantle the sphere shell by shell and integrate; from the above, the energy dU required to move a shell of thickness dr and mass dm to infinity from a surface at radius r and local gravity g is given by dU = g r dm.
We have g = GM(r/R)3/r2 and dm = M×3r2dr/R3 (volume increases thrice as fast as radius, relatively). Thus :-
U = ∫0R [ GM(r/R)3/r2 × r × 3Mr2dr/R3 ]
U = 3 G M 2 / R6 × ∫0R [ r4dr ] = 3/5 GM2/R
Alternatively, the gravitational potential energy of the sphere (zero after disruption) can be calculated.
The potential energy dU of such a shell around a mass M' = M(r/R)3 is dU = G M' dm / r. Thus :-
U = ∫0R [ G × M(r/R)3 × 3Mr2dr/R3 / r]
U = 3 G M 2 / R6 × ∫0R [ r4dr ] = 3/5 GM2/R
The energy required to move one particle m from the surface at R to infinity is E = mgR, and there g = GM/R2, so E = GmM/R ; the binding energy is the energy required to lift all the material, in constant surface gravity, to a height of 60% of the radius.

It exists in them, either in latency or expressed in their actions.
In the Puranas, fire in pre-manifestation state represents Shiva as a shaft of light which Brahma and Vishnu together were unsuccessful in exploring and locating its source. Brahma is also said to be the progenitor of fire as one of his sons married a daughter of Daksha and produced 49 types of fire. According to another story, Indra, an offspring of Kashyapa and Aditi, is considered identical with Agni as well as the Sun.
Agni emanated from the mouth of the Supreme; he later manifested the cosmos and revealed the sacredness of the Vedas. His carTier is a ram (which also means the first asterism, Aries). Agni had three sons, Pavaka, Pavamana, and Suchi, who were condemned by Vashistha to be born repeatedly. They appear as Vidyuta (electrical fire), Nirmatya (fire produced by friction) and Suchi, as the solar flare. From Pavaka was born Kavyavahana, the fire of Pitris (q.v.; from Pavamana was born Saharaksha, the fire of the Asuras or the demons; and from Suchi was born Havyavahana, the fire of the gods. The three sons of Agni had 45 sons, so the family had altogether 49 persons identified with the 49 fires. They produced physical, psychic and spiritual energies in men by their permutations and combinations.
Agni is represented as having seven tongues, each of which has a distinct name and function. He has four hands and is borne in a chariot drawn by red horses, and the seven winds are the wheels of his car. He is accompanied by a ram, on which he is sometimes represented as riding. The seven flames of fire are named Kali (black), Karali (fierce), Manojava (mind-swift), Sulohita (blood-red), Sudhumravarna (smoke-coloured), Vishwaruch-devi (universally attractive), and Sphulingini (scintillating). They are the seven channels of cosmic, mundane and human evolutions; they represent the seven rays of the Sun, represented by seven horses of its chariot, or the seven heads of a single horse in it. The seven channels each with seven subsidiary currents make a total of 49 fires which move in both outgoing and in going directions. The fire manifests as Prana (q.v.), the vital life force in the physical body; as Kama, sexual passion in man's emotional nature; Manas, as the thinking principle in his mind-body; and Tapas, penance with austere sacrifices at the spiritual level. The total sacrifice of one's everyday life for one's divine nature or for the Supreme Being is represented by Swaha, the sacrificial fire. The fire aroused by Pavamana forges a union between thinking principle and Buddhic consciousness, thereby leading to an illumined mind which unfolds higher spiritual attributes in man.
The Sun is the visible symbol of cosmic fire functioning in the solar system; it vibrates at the highest spiritual level in man. Mars represents fire at the physical level, imparting to it the necessary vigour, enthusiasm and initiative. Jupiter absorbs the life force radiating from the Sun, and distributes it throughout the body for sustaining and protecting it from any untoward calamity. Agni presides over Krittika (q.v.) and Vishakha (q.v.) asterisms and is also related to Aridra (q.v.), Hastha (q.v.) and Purva Bhadrapada (q.v.). Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are fiery zodiacal signs.
The importance of fire and therefore of the stellar impulses linked with it in manifestation and everyday existence was emphasized by H.P. Blavatsky as follows:

I was at the gym. It was raining so hard the power went out so everyone had to leave. I ran out to my truck... and when I got to my door I looked in the window and the rain drops were hitting my seat before I opened my door. I thought it was weird... I then opened my door and the rain hit where the drops already were on the seat. Very strange. Just to make sure... the window was closed and everything.

Physical manifestation is a type of "matrix." Most of the space around you is actually empty, atoms being individual units of rules and designed functions which acting together create what you perceive as reality, through the illusion of progression of reactions between themselves, or time. Actually, everything is the same, all matter is one THING, but presently there are rules being adhered to, with again, what one conceives as time and space.

Imagine this: it´s pouring rain, you cover your head and run to your car with your head down and jumping the puddles along the way, you get to where you parked and open the door, uncover your head and suddenly realize THIS IS NOT YOUR CAR, damn, slams door and mumbles "I could have sworn I parked in this spot", "damn matrix glitches".
AA comes along and thinks it was HIS glitch!

The seal on my door was fine. I checked it. Afterall it did not "leak" when i got in. Besides its a brand new truck. Barely 4 or 5 months old. Secondly.. if it was leaking.. there would have been a lot of water inside.. it was only enough drops to get on the seat after holding the door open for about 2 or 3 seconds. As far as the matrix thing.. I think SG summed it up quite well.

The first glitch I ever noticed was also the biggest glitch. It was 1985, I was on a quick break from work and on my way back. About a half a block from the building, all the sudden, all of ´reality´ sort of warped and twisted then bounced right back! I stopped, shook my head, totally confused and returned to work. When I got back, not only had everyone else experianced some sort of weird, unexplainable shift, but all the clocks at work now said it was 15 minutes before I had left!

Physical manifestation is a type of "matrix." Most of the space around you is actually empty, atoms being individual units of rules and designed functions which acting together create what you perceive as reality, through the illusion of progression of reactions between themselves, or time. Actually, everything is the same, all matter is one THING, but presently there are rules being adhered to, with again, what one conceives as time and space.

Scope and history
In the most traditional sense, allusion is a literary term, though the word also has come to encompass indirect references to any source, including allusions in film or the visual arts. In the field of film criticism, a film-maker's intentionally unspoken visual reference to another film has come to be called an homage. It may even be sensed that real events have allusive overtones, when a previous event is inescapably recalled by a current one. "Allusion is bound up with a vital and perennial topic in literary theory, the place of authorial intention in interpretation", William Irwin observed, in asking "What is an allusion?"[2] Without the hearer or reader's comprehending the author's intention, an allusion becomes merely a decorative device.
Allusive substitutions are as old as English: see kenning. Allusion is an economical device, a figure of speech that draws upon the ready stock of ideas or emotion already associated with a topic in a relatively short space. Thus, an allusion is understandable only to those with prior knowledge of the covert reference in question. (See cultural literacy.)
Functioning
A sobriquet is an allusion: by metonymy one aspect of a person or other referent is selected to identify it, and it is this shared aspect that makes an allusion evocative. In an allusion to "the city that never sleeps", New York will be recognized. Recognizing the figure in this condensed puzzle-disguise[3] additionally serves to reinforce cultural solidarity between the maker of the remark and the hearer: their shared familiarity with The Big Apple bonds them.[4] Some aspect of the referent must be invoked and identified, in order for the tacit association to be made; the allusion is indirect in part because "it depends on something more than mere substitution of a referent"[5] The allusion depends as well on the author's intent; an industrious reader may search out parallels to a figure of speech or a passage, of which the author under examination was unaware, and offer them as unconscious allusions— coincidences that a critic might not find illuminating. Addressing such issues is an aspect of hermeneutics.
William Irwin remarks that allusion moves in only one direction: "If A alludes to B, then B does not allude to A. The Bible does not allude to Shakespeare, though Shakespeare may allude to the Bible." Irwin appends a note: "Only a divine author, outside of time, would seem capable of alluding to a later text."[6] This is the basis for Christian readings of Old Testament prophecy, which asserts that passages are to be read as allusions to future events.
Types of allusion
In Homer, brief allusions could be made to mythic themes of generations previous to the main narrative because they were already familiar to the epic's hearers: one example is the theme of the Calydonian boarhunt. In Hellenistic Alexandria, literary culture and a fixed literary canon known to readers and hearers, made a densely allusive poetry effective; the poems of Callimachus offer the best-known examples.
In discussing the richly allusive poetry of Virgil's Georgics, R.F. Thomas[7] distinguished six categories of allusive reference, which are applicable to a wider cultural sphere. They are 1) casual reference, "the use of language which recalls a specific antecedent, but only in a general sense" that is relatively unimportant to the new context; 2) single reference, in which the hearer or reader is intended to "recall the context of the model and apply that context to the new situation"; such a specific single reference in Virgil, according to Thomas, is a means of "making connections or conveying ideas on a level of intense subtlety"; 3) self-reference, where the locus is in the poet's own work; 4) corrective allusion, where the imitation is clearly in opposition to the original source's intentions; 5) apparent reference ""which seems clearly to recall a specific model but which on closer inspection frustrates that intention" and 6) multiple reference or conflation, which refers in various ways simultaneously to several sources, fusing and transforming the cultural traditions.
Allusion differs from the similar term intertextuality in that it is an intentional effort on the author's part. The success of an allusion depends in part on at least some of its audience "getting" it. Allusions may be made increasingly obscure, until at last they are understood by the author alone, who thereby retreats into a private language.
A literature has grown round explorations of the allusions in Alexander Pope's The Rape of the Lock or T. S. Eliot's The Wasteland
Martin Luther King Jr. alluded to the Gettysburg Address in starting his "I Have a Dream" speech by saying 'Five score years ago..."; his hearers were immediately reminded of Abraham Lincoln's "Four score and seven years ago", which opened the Gettysburg Address. King's allusion effectively called up parallels in two historic moments.
An allusion may become trite and stale through unthinking overuse, devolving into a mere cliché, as in some of the following examples:
15 minutes of fame
Andy Warhol, a twentieth-century American man most famous for his pop-art images of Campbell soup cans and Marilyn Monroe, commented about the explosion of media coverage by saying, “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes."
Today, when someone receives a great deal of media attention for something fairly trivial, and he or she is said to be experiencing his/her “15 minutes of fame”, the allusion is to Andy Warhol's famous saying.
Cassandra
In Greek mythology, Cassandra, the daughter of Trojan king Priam, was loved by Apollo, who gave her the gift of prophecy. When Cassandra later angered Apollo, he altered the gift so that her prophecies, while true, would not be believed. Thus, her accurate warnings to the Trojans were disregarded, and disaster befell them.
Today, a “Cassandra” refers to someone who predicts disasters or negative results, especially to someone whose predictions are disregarded.
Catch-22
This phrase comes from a novel by Joseph Heller. Catch-22 is set on a U.S. Army Air Force base in World War II. The “catch-22” refers to a regulation that states an airman’s request to be relieved from flight duty can be granted only if he is judged to be insane. However, anyone who does not want to fly dangerous missions is obviously sane. Thus, there is no way to avoid flying the missions.
Later in the book the old Woman in Rome explains that Catch-22 means, "They can do whatever they want to do." This refers both to the double bind of asking to be grounded and the logical processes lewading to the MPs' arrest of Nately's whore.
A “Catch-22” has come to mean, incorrectly, an absurd, no-win situation.
T. S. Eliot and James Joyce
The poetry of T. S. Eliot is often described as "allusive", because of his habit of referring to names, places or images that may only make sense in the light of prior knowledge. This technique can add to the experience, but for the uninitiated can make Eliot's work seem dense and hard to decipher. The most densely allusive work in Finnegan's Wake. Joseph Campbell, Henry Morton Robinson and Edmund L. Epstein provided a Skeleton Key to Finnegan's Wake (1944) that unlocked some of Joyce's most obscure allusions.

Source: SiemensThe zero-watt monitor from Fujitsu Siemens Computers was chosen as “Innovation of the Year” at this year’s CeBIT computer trade show. The primary component is a circuit element in the power supply unit of the monitor that is switched by the PC. As soon as the video signal of the computer subsides, a relay—an electrically powered switch—with two switching positions automatically interrupts the entire electrical circuit of the monitor. When the computer signal returns again, the low currents that then begin to flow across the interface are sufficient to trigger the relay and thereby restart the monitor.
The zero-watt monitor, which will initially be marketed to corporate customers beginning in the summer of 2008, adds to the range of “green” IT products sold by Fujitsu Siemens Computers. This is another component of the long-term strategy of the company, which also stresses environmental compatibility in its laptops, PCs and servers.
Several years ago, for instance, some of the Esprimo Professional PCs were the first systems to be certified with the “Blue Angel” environmental label. The Esprimo P Energy Saving Edition, uses as little as around 87 kilowatt hours in its standard configuration, less than half of the 183 kWh needed on average by nearly four-year-old office PCs.

This is true yet the illusion is you have come to beleive you are not awake or come to beleive you are not a spiritual being or simply you have come to beleive you are something you are not or you simply do not know yourself they are all the same thing all the same illusion. And yet you are awake right now youve just got to stop pretending you are not and so the apparent paradox of being able to wake up is there, although its not waking up its just realising the obviousness of this very moment.
