People are like small fish in an ocean being moved around wherever the world wants.
Everyone fell for the trick, and things here in the world are like bait, and it got people hook line and sinker.
The bait is simple, the way people have become controlled is by simple process, by appealing to these sides of people:
Ego - when people get a big head or ego, they think of themselves better than others and their ego thinks it is the centre of the world, we’ve all been there. Then because we think we’re the best we often hurt others, usually people close to us, and end up ruining good friendships, destroying things we’ve built and end up having to eat some humble pie later on.
Lust – If peoples desires get going, they are controlled and can be manipulated. Don’t get me wrong, we’re not talking about abstinence, but more of uncontrollable lust and how people often are mislead to do bad things and create a lot of pain, maybe for others and themselves.
Anger – If you can make someone angry, you got them, you control their emotional state, their anger which you triggered, can be very destructive. They are then gonna go out and let their anger out on someone, either you, the people around them, or maybe random people. Either way, anger is like sweet bait.
Attachment – If you can get people attached, you cut them off from other things, and they are then manipulated because they believe they are attached to something, and need it, or it needs them. This emotional connection really hurts when the thing you are attached to, either a person or a thing goes, and causes a lot of sadness, and pain for everyone.
Finally greed. People can be furiously driven by greed, the pursuit of more, more than others, more than I had before, I want it all attitude. It may even seem ok at first, and a noble thing, like when people chase money with greed, they could say its to support their families, which is true, but if there’s greed involved they’ll even forget and turf out their families to get the money. They forget the very purpose they wanted it and just want it, because they want it, its greed, and the more they have, the more they suffer the consequences later. They sell-out their values and things they used to believe in, so when the greed within someone is ignited, they are hooked.
These things are how peoples mind are driven, and the very reason we are so disconnected from the truth of who we are. People minds can become distracted and excited by these desires so easily, but the good vibes we feel from it are just temporary, the backlash of these things cause us all problems.
So watch your emotions, because its like those kids toys, like small animals or cars, you turn the thing at the back, wind it right up, and when you let go, off goes the car zooming away, but in our case when we’re fired up by these things we go zooming off and hit a hard wall and explode while the thing that wound us up is fine.
